Today is "A Day Late And A Dollar Short" Day. April 16th. About mid day yesterday I started to feel like crap so I took a little snooze. That helped a little. Allergies are kickin in a little. Went by the tag agency and applied for a title for the 928 in my nephews name. As the heir to my brothers estate, he has to take possession before he can gift the title over to me. Paperwork is a pain in the butt. Needed a death certificate, application for title transfer, birth certifiate and a copy of his passport. I rounded that all up while I was in Beantown. I had made two trips to the tag agency to make sure that was all I needed. Did a mock transaction with the clerk to make sure there was no last minute mystery documentation needed. I'll have power of attorney to take it the rest of the way. Car should be arriving today. Just waiting for the call. Later today we're going to a BBQ/Blues Fest at a local county park. Pressing on with the chore list. FIL is home from the hospital. He's in a lot of pain. 2 weeks till cruise time. That's enough out of me ..... Time to get something rolling.

Good Morning CGs!

Rain rain rain here. Been raining since last night, supposed to keep going all week. Better than snow, right?

Went to an Easter play at my wife's church last night. Of course it was all in Polish. I didn't understand but 3 words. I think "vodka" might have been one of them. I went just because my FIL had a part in it, so it was a family type deal. Oh well I think I scored some brownie points.

Got my truck back from the dealer Thursday, no more squealing fan belt, so that's a bonus. Torque converter seems to be more smooth with the new fluid. That's about it for me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

There is this orange ball radiating warmth and light coming up over the horizon. I think its the sun. Gotta go down and get my car out of hock before the next rain comes through. I get to drive the car finally, I hope. I need to go into Star City today so would love to drive it in.

Not much else to report, more later gotta go!!! Have a good day Guru's!

Greetings! Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row, Tommy. Which is a good thing, as we all know how messy ducks can be. Looking out the window, I see that we have a couple inches of snow. So I'd just like to say...

Dear Mother Nature,

Kiss my a$$.

Sincerely,
Brad

I was at a charity raffle and silent auction and they had an event called a duck shit. They threw all these raffle tickets into a pen then added a duck. Whatever tickets the duck shit on won a prize in the raffle. I laughed my ass off. The duck got loose. They put the duck back in. There were multiple winners.

Afternoon guys....I've been up and visiting with SIL's parents who came in today and then took one daughter and one granddaughter to the Royals game. It has been a fairly uncomfortable day, both weather wise and being around the in-laws. Better go back out and at least make the effort.

That's a funny post, Tommy.

After work I picked up my new to me exhaust system. It came off a 96 lt4 with 4000 miles and has been sitting in a shop since then. Still needs to be fitted and welded/clamped. That will take me some time and swear words, but should be worth it in the end.

Matthew

Speaking of exhaust systems, I went to pick up the car and after backing out of the stall I tried to put it in gear and the shifter would not work right, so back in to see what was going on. I was in a hurry to get to Lincoln so had to take the truck and leave the car with them. Bummer.

When I got back they had it fixed and I took it out for a drive and was pleased with the results. It is louder at low speeds in the cab but I like that because it lets you know there is a small block doing the work. At 1500 to 1600 rpm there is a slight drone but put it back in 3rd or speed up a bit and it goes away. At 60 on up to 90 no drone and not much rumble in the cabin. After a few miles the check engine light came on so the EGR delete is doing it's thing. Nuts!

So far so good! More as I get more miles on it. Also I will have my kids help me get a sound vid so you can listen to it also.

If you didn't know, I am half Polish. Bogus was chopped up from Boguszewski at Ellis Island some 130+ years ago.

I never learned the language, either.
