Bought some Al Knoch Leather Perf seats! I had one perfectly fine passenger side set, and the driver top was good, but the bottom was ripped,

The new ones arrived Carmine Red perf in 10 -day from the date of the order

Any secrets on getting the seat back mounted to the clips?

Yea, the clips need to be pushed towards the center of the seat to release them. I made a tool that made it fairly easy to do.

Read this:

The link on my post here shows the tool.

Have fun.

BILLH, thanks a gajillion!

I have battled this first for an hour and gave up,

I will take the shell out of the car and die the shell black to look like new and then put the seat together, thanks again!

I just saw this... Very nice! You will love those! I can't believe I have had my new Al Knoch seats for over eight years now. I guess they are not new seats any more.

They have held up pretty good though with just some basic cleaning over time. The passenger seat still looks like day one.

That looks hot! I may go back to solid red seats again too! that could be a project for next winter. I changed over from solid torch red seats to the two tone, and I think the solid red looks pretty dang good!

Thanks BG, I am going to spring for new carpet this winter when I have it painted, I figure that I will strip the interior out during the paint job and then put the new carpet in.

I actually wanted 2-tone but they were extra $$$ so after lots of going back n forth, I stayed stock.

I also considered the all black with Red stitching, I liked that too.

I put some conditioner on them Sunday eve and it darkened up some too.
