Good morning to you Andy...hope you are enjoying your weekend. I went to a birthday party for one of my clients last night and there was a woman there from Bowling Green Kentucky and as we were chatting I asked if she worked at the Corvette plant. She said no, but she wished she did because there was a lot of work going on there and people in the area were excited about what GM was doing.....I asked her if she had a spy pic of the new C7 and she said yes and showed it to me and I about fell on the ground at how cool it is........Ok....I made that last part up but the first part is true....I think GM is on a roll right now and am thinking the 7 will be a winner....

I will just hang around today, the air is cool and fresh out and I really like it....I suppose it will be hot again next week when we have to work in it....

Have a relaxing day Guru's....

Good Morning CGs!

Been tidying up the house and dealing with the kids this morning. Later this afternoon we are going to a Polish picnic for my FIL's home village. They do it every year. Lots of fun for the kids, food, beer, etc.

Didn't get any work done on the car this weekend. Oh well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

morning guys...Driving the Corvette, we've made our way to the in-laws house and later today we will go to my friends' wake service. It's about a 40 minute drive from here (2 1/2 hours from home).

I'm thinking you may as well wait for a C7 Marcus. I think that I need to take my Corvette back in as the steering wheel has some play and it wanders a little. Makes me wonder about the "new" rack that was put in.

BillH must be actually doing something ...

... I spent most of the morning (in between carting the parents back and forth from their church) prepping the 1985 for her first judging in over a year. Lauren is looking pretty good - just a couple more things to clean up. We convoy up to New Hope on Friday afternoon.

I thought about that Tom...but I would want to wait a few years so they can gets the startup bugs out of them....been true of all the other generations....part of me wants to have owned all the generations that were relavent to my times....I have owned C2's and 3's and 4's and now a 5...so I will try a 6 of later vintage while I wait for the C7 to prove itself....

Could be they did not get the alingment just right, I would have that checked first....I tell them I want it set up for the highway.....I don't know if that makes a difference to them but it sounds good anyway......

I had the alignment differently than the OE specs. I'm sure the alignment is right on. There is just some play in the steering wheel. I don't know if there is any adjustment to help that or not.

Howdy! I was off early (for me) to play golf this morning - delightful day out there, but lots of swings. When I got home my oldest son was here, so we BBQ'd for dinner. Then it was time for lawn mowing. Now it is time for denting the couch.

Have a good evening, yawlz!

John - back into the NCRS thing? Can't wait to hear the results!

This was more landscaping weekend. We are having some friends over in a couple of weeks and want it look nice, and, we are also prepping for refi, so curb appeal makes tons of difference.

Got a little bit more to do, but they are big... plant roses in the front, refresh the flower bed and lay out mulch, plus finish trimming the driveway in pavers. whew... then there are some inside fixes... and still some painting...

Exciting... at least the Vette is running good and I don't have to be fixing on that.
