Bought this code reader on sale from summit $99 normally $200. obdl and obd ll.
works on my son't 92 jeep,my 2000 f150, 87 corvette and my new 2013 GMC Sierra. easy to use. better then my old Harbor freight one. lol

I would hope!! The Autoxray is a pretty good piece.

As for the new truck? Leave that to the dealer... don't wanna void the warranty!!

Looks like a good price! Does it do any additional OBDII stuff like an emissions test, live data, etc? That's helpful on the newer ones.

Should show "Emission Readiness" , mine does.

But these (like mine) won't show "Snapshots:, live data.

Sometimes, just the code will get you there though, other times just the code can mean there's 10 causes to the problem and without the live data, you problem solving is harder. Just went thru this on the Silverado with a "lean bank" code. Didn't have enough info on my code reader.

One of these years, I'll upgrade.

That being said, for $99, this is a good tool to have, going to a full scanner is at least 3x the cost.

it showes emission readiness

compared to the $4000 we have at the shop/ i am happy with this one. the truck has onstar for now that does this some how

I've had the AutoXray 6000 (I think that's the model) for several years now. I think I paid $250 for it. I will read the data as the vehicle runs and can be downloaded to your computer. They make good quality products.
