I need the hard line that goes from the fuel rail to the braided line along with the clamp that secures both lines to the intake manifold. This is the line with the Schraeder valve. For some reason these are hard to find at the Vette salvage yards.

have you tried corvettenutz.com They seem to have quite a bit. I just got a door window switch and they shipped quick, as advertised and good pricing.

Did you try Dino's. He's up the road from me in the swamp. I haven't been by his place in a long while but he always seems to have DOZENS of complete corvettes and and a AZZ-ton of donors in the back.
If you call him he may be able to give you fair market price of the part so that you'll know what to offer Andy.

I was suggesting you buy Andy's, however, he was asking for fair market value hence the suggestion to call Dino for a price.

In the navy BOATS is used almost exclusively for

BOATSWAINS Mates
Resized Image

Boatswain Mate is an honorable profession and one of the oldest ratings in the Navy; however, I was a BOATGUY, commonly known as SWCC, more commonly known as DBG (dirty Boat Guy) A short while ago a rating for boatguys was established (SB) and prior to the rating establishment I was an EM, so I do not rate the term boats....

However, thanks for the complement brother, even though I don't rate it.

No harm meant. That's what you get when you are ex Army and don't know squat about the Navy.
I already had a quote on the part from Vette2Vette of $23 so I didn't want to bother Dino. I think I have met him at Corvette shows and he is an intense dude who does not like to put up with people wasting his time.

No harm taken. He seems nice enough when I go to his warehouse in beautiful downtown Picayune.

I have one off of my '93, but it sounds like you're all set. I am closer to ya, though, Ron if you're going to be in Detroit you can pick it up.

Bogus, what's the story with the LS swap? Is there a thread about it or just the one you posted a few months ago as a "train of thought?"

Wait, I may have lied. I misread your post and thought you needed the braided lines. Not sure if I have the hard lines, I won't bother to check unless bogus can't ship his.

Just got the rest of the parts from Jason today. Now all I need is Andy's to start hooking it up. I was able to purchase adaptors from Ace Hardware today that will allow me to hook up the braided line to the existing L98 lines.
I also purchased the correct size chrome bolts to bolt the manifold to the heads. Almost $60 worth of bolts
I recall that I used thread sealer to install the bolts for the L98 intake manifold so I will do the same for the LT1 unless someone tells me different.
Also got my Felpro intake gasket set and Moroso remote thermostat housing from Summit yesterday. Will be using The Right Stuff to seal the china wall and pitch the pieces that came with the Felpro set.
I will need to drill and tap the remote housing to fit the water temp sensor from the L98. I hope the sensor has SAE threads as my tap and die set is not metric.
Now to order the small cap distributor from Rock Auto. They have one with a blue cap that will match my blue theme.
