Louis celebrated his third anniversary with us today. It was October 13, 2011 when we picked him up at the Corvette Museum. To celebrate, we took one of our short three day "gallivants": early Saturday morning to the magnificant AACA show at Hershey (pictures coming!) and heading southwest Saturday afternoon to stay the night at Shephardstown, WV on the Potomac River. On Sunday we drove to Bedford, PA and did a couple hour long covered bridge tour before staying the night at the Omni Bedford Springs (circa 1806). Today, we visited the Flight 93 memorial before heading home. A couple of months ago I gave in: Louis is now definitively the best car we have ever owned. The mileage tally as of today: 28,104. |

The Gulf station... where is that? I have seen that before, either in photo or in person... it's a bit of a blur, sad to say. Very cool stuff! |

That's right!!! It's time to update that D90... Check craigslist, you can get a killer deal on a used D3, or even a D800. A pro-used D3, with 300k images, still has 300k left, and, rebuilt costs are under $500 for a full on reconditioning. Well worth it for the quality of the D3. |
