It was hot yesterday and we are supposed to be hot through Friday. Then more seasonal temps over the weekend and next week.

I've got to get some things ready today to go east this weekend. As I will be doing some other things besides picking up the 'new' machine. More cleaning and re-arranging to do in the shop.

I trust each and every one of you will have a great day.

68 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH, HUMIDITY DOWN, FEELS LIKE FALL. GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY. THE CHEROKEES AGREE.

HAD SUPPER WITH #1 DAUGHTER AND FAMILY YESTERDAY EVENING. GRANDDAUGHTERS 3 & 4 WERE IN FULL CRY. #4, WHO IS THE OLDER AND BIGGER OF THE TWO, STILL COMES RUNNING TO PAPA TO BE PICKED UP AND HUGGED. AT NINE YEARS OLD THIS IS GETTING A LITTLE STRENUOUS FOR AN OLD MAN :-)

Hidey-ho! The morning started off on a sour note - as soon as I booted up, a Windows (10) update started that took over 1.5 hours to complete. Ridiculous! And we are waterlogged - more than enough rain to go around for everyone, and more on the way.

Stay dry, Gurus!

not that you ever deserved it Gris......that kid behind you made you throw those spitballs........and dip the girl in front of you's pigtails in the ink well.....and was that you who went up on the roof and plugged the chimney so the room filled with smoke from the potbelly stove?..........I thought so....

Another day out here in the Phoenix of the Northwest. I kinda like it around here....its pretty much an oasis in the desert......got the sprinkler system goin yesterday. The water for irrigation is pumped right out of the rivers so there are filters on the systems that need cleaned like once a week....pain in the ass but you gotta do it......I talked to the guy who mows her lawn to also clean the filter when he mows........got the GS shining like a diamond. Took awhile to get the bugs off the front......today I am going to Rejex and Chadwick her Subby.......that should keep me busy........

Enjoy your day Guru's.........

Well, spent three more hours cleaning the shop. I'm getting there, and the dumpster is getting full.

Gris, those are the pleasures of grands, I've got one who is a little older than that, that still does that. Marcus, enjoy your time there. Brad you can send some of that rain my way, getting dry again here. I heard on the radio, you're getting more than your share.

Oh, Brad, mine did the same thing this morning. I don't know how long it took, as I walked away and let it do its' thing.

First day of fall and by the weather you wouldn't know it.

Lots going on here. Worked a lot this week plus the kids means not much time to myself.

I have a memorial service in the morning for our good friend Rick's father who passed recently. I also have a lot of chores around the house and need to get the garage cleaned up.

Maybe I'll post some pictures tomorrow in the toolaholics thread. I've gotten quite a bit recently.

Have a good night all.
