Morning guys.... To those who are serving, have served, and those who gave the ultimate price, my thoughts, prayers and gratitude are with you.

I up and ready to go up to the hospital for my procedure. The cleaning out process wasn't a lot of fun, but, I'm cleaned out. I'm hungry, but will be able to eat later.

I'll check back in later. You guys have a great day.

I usually head for an Ihop to rebuild my strength after those fun times......prayers everything goes ok Tom.....

Gotta get rolling.....much to do......looking forward to the weekend.....have a safe one Guru's....

Matt.....sounds like fun.......were you grinning? I always am grinning when I go fast.....like this......

I read somewhere that the founding fathers did not have career politicians in mind when they framed the constitution and our government. They wanted normal men from all walks of life to come in and serve and then leave and let someone else in.. I do not believe Trump falls into that category...That is all Hillary has ever done......

Happy Veteran's Day, Gurus! Indeed, a sincere thanks to all who served. Cool here, but nice and sunny.

Have a good day, all!

May your procedure go without a hitch, Tom. Here are few pics from around the yard. It's such a beautiful South Florida morning. The 91 is cleaned and parade ready with the top down and set to go.

Ok, I'm back. The worst part of the procedure was the little gal had to stick me twice to get the IV started. I knew the first time was not going to work as it hurt like h3ll the moment she stuck me. Then dug around trying to get the thing 'threaded'. After a bit she gave up and said she would try another location. She kept apologizing. The second time it went in without a hitch. Back of my hand is still sore.

Wheeled me into the OR and they turned me on my side and the anesthesiologist said that my hand might burn a bit, as she was going to flush the line......that's the last I remember until 45 minutes later when I'm back in the recovery room. Another 15 or 20 minutes later and they let us come home. It's just a walk down the alley home. A half hour later and my head is back to clear. But my stomach is rolling and I don't want to be far from the toilet. They pumped me full of air (I guess that's normal procedure) and now I just have to pass it.

As far as the procedure, the colon looked clean, he stopped short of calling it "beautiful" like the last time, but said it looked good. My esophagus, he said looked a little inflamed where it meets the stomach. He took a biopsy, but wasn't too concerned. I go back to see him Dec 2.

They told me to take it easy today. So I will.

Sounds like a touch of acid reflux (though I'm no doctor).

Back from the parade. The two women I presented were delightful. They chatted as if I wasn't there. Felt a little chauferish like what was said in the car stays in the car. Miss Homestead 2009 and Miss Homestead 2015 were left in my care. Got a few shouts from the kids along the parade route. Nice car! The ladies got a kick out of that.

My MIL just informed us that the bucket trap I put in her garage has thusfar caused the demise of 3 rodents. Better there than in my Vette.
