Happy Friday! I think I may head home shortly - my wife passed along whatever she caught while trapped on a flying petri dish. And it is supposed to snow this afternoon, so I imagine that will make for delightful commuting.

Winter is here today.......I heard about it as I lay in bed with the fuzzy sheets pulled up around my ears........wake me in the spring somebody.....
Going to Kansas today to have Thanksgiving dinner with my Mum......The assisted living facility is putting it on.......maybe the food will be good.....naaaah......maybe it will be catered ..........naaah....... May your day be a lively one Guru's...... |

Spending the day at the nursery doing sales and whatever. I'd rather be doing some plumbing. Update Sis is still hanging on by a thread. The doctors now are refusing any further surgical procedures. She is on a ventilator and feeding tube. All have said she should go to hospice but her husband is refusing to accept that she has little if any chance of recovery. She is unconscious now. The other day she spoke with my sister and mother at length. They listened to some comforting religious music together and prayed. |

+1 on what's best for your sister, Tommy. Got some things done in the shop today and we made our weekly trip to the 'city' to get things for Thanksgiving. #3 and family will be here along with #2. And we have things going on tomorrow and Sunday, so today made sense to make the trek.
Tonight we have a surprise birthday party for a good friend who we've known since college, and she taught with me for the last 25 years. We both retired the same year from education. It's her 60th. |
