The month is jetting by. This time of year goes fast for me every year. Next thing I know It's January 10th. Must be because of the endless parade of things that have to get done in addition to the regular $#!+. Sitaday? Not me. One day but that day will not be today. Enjoy yourselves gurus, and if you can't, put on a fake smile.

Oh ya, almost forgot. Watched the Mecum Auction out in Anaheim till midnight EST. Prices for the most part were not excessive. Saw a 2003 Corvette with a top bid of $10,500. Didn't meet reserve . A Marina Blue 67 topped out at $38k. Again, reserve not met. Lots of heavily modded non original cars. Some went moderately while some I think paid too much for a non original car. 1st day is usually deal day because of the lower audience participation and the better cars usually show up later in the auction. I heard the Mecum flagmen out in the audience telling potential buyers they'd drop the commission to %5 to entice bidders to buy when it was close to beating the reserve. Later guys ......

Morning guys...I slept in this morning. It's COLD out there. 1 thermometer said 13 another said 16, either way it's cold.

Next week youngest daughter and family come for Thanksgiving, so Rosie has been busy putting Christmas stuff up. "I want the kids to see the decorations." She loves Christmas, and I guess, I do too and don't mind the decorations even though we are before Thanksgiving. If it were warmer, I'd probably put the lights up....next week when it warms a bit.

Headed out to the shop to cut up some materials and un-clamp some boards I glued yesterday that will become the drawer fronts for youngest daughters new bed. Other than church this evening, that's about the size of my day (as of now, that might change in 10 minutes )

Letty, is the new house in a sketchy neighborhood?

Have a great day, guys.

Got back late from Kansas.....big windy day in Kansas and Nebraska yesterday......had a nice time with the folks.....Mom has made a complete recovery looks to me like. She was back to her old self yesterday. Amazing woman.....the dinner was ok but the food was disappointing......it was supposed to be Turkey but we had ham instead.....which means whoever catered it.......I'm thinking grocery store deli, got the order messed up......nobody said anything......but cranberry does do ok with ham......I guess.......

Today is a cold Husker game starting at 11.....so I better start getting my warm gear out......37 degrees by game time so I better bundle up......

Have a day of warmth and sunshine Guru's....

SUNNY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THE PREDICTED FREEZE DIDN'T HAPPEN AM GRISHEIM, ONLY DOWN TO ABOUT 36.

THAT'S JUST AS WELL, AS I WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT REMEMBERING ALL THE FREEZABLE STUFF IN THE BARN AND GARAGE THAT I FORGOT TO BRING IN THE HOUSE.

GOT A TRUCK LOAD OF LEAVES BLOWN OFF THE PATIOS THIS MORNING WHILE IT WAS CALM. GOT TO MAKE A TAHLEQUAH RUN FOR CANNED DOG/CAT FOOD TODAY AND GET A BALE OF STRAW FOR THE DOGHOUSE. 52 THE PREDICTED HIGH, NICE WEATHER TO GET THINGS DONE. :-)

Greetings! We were supposed to go to a friend's housewarming party today, but we are both still not feeling great, so we'll stay home and not spread it around. We got a dusting of snow last night. Meanwhile, up in northern MN where my sister lives, they got 18"+. Ick.

Glad to hear your mom is doing well, Marcus!

Keep warm, Gurus!

GOT LOTS OF STUFF DONE TODAY, INCLUDING THE THINGS I SHOULD HAVE DONE YESTERDAY TO PREP FOR THE FREEZE. DID A LITTLE IN THE BARN, BUT THE DUMPSTER RUNNETH OVER AGAIN SO NOT MUCH PROGRESS WILL BE MADE BEFORE THE TUESDAY TRASHY PICKUP.

BTW, WD-40 WORKED LIKE A CHARM ON THAT TAR.

Busy day here. Not sure what I got done, but I was busy all day. It's cold again, and the church had no heat, so it was cold in there. I called the tech, who is coming from the 'city' to get it going. I have to go up and meet him here in a bit.

Thankfully, it's warm here in the house.
