CLEAR, COLD, AND CALM IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, 13 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH AND A DUSTING OF WHAT SEEMS TO BE GRANULATED SNOW( THERE'S A NAME FOR THAT BUT I HAVE FORGOTTEN IT). THE MEDIA ARE HYPERVENTILATING AND THE CHEROKEES ARE STILL "ALL SNUG IN THEIR BEDS". I'VE ALREADY GOT CABIN FEVER. :-) |

Cold here as well. Last night we had some nasty snow coming down that made the drive miserable. Roads were really slick with wet snow and ice. Woke up this morning we had about 4 inches on the ground. Wonderful.
I'll have to get to that later. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. |

Greetings! Nice and sunny, and a balmy -20 here. They'd said it could be worse, but this is the coldest December day in 20 years. Should be about 40 degrees warmer tomorrow, bring on the umbrella drinks.

...it's a beautiful day here at Cabo......I'm watching a woman's sand volleyball match down at the beach.....I love sand volleyball down at the beach......they just brought me another beer with a wedge of lemon in the top........In a bit I'm........xf%$#&******* huh what.......what time is it......oh man I better get up......wow I was sleeping like a rock........It's how cold? Chit...forget it I'm going back to bed hell with it......
...my advice Guru's......stay indoors today........ |

An elderly, but hardy cattleman from Texas once told a young female neighbor that if she wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gunpowder on her oatmeal each morning. ....just watching football and thinking warm thoughts about uh......why the Chefs got beat and what happened to the Viqueens lately.......had a great nap.....eating a lot because we need more calories when its cold....right?

I stayed inside all day. Watched a couple movies, took a nap...or two. It did get up to the low 20s like they predicted.
