CLOUDY AND SOAKING WET IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THREE INCHES IN THE RAIN GAUGE.

MADE A STOP AT OUR NEIGHBOR GIRL'S PARTY, THEN OFF TO
OKMULGEE . RAINED ON THE WAY OVER THEN WHEN WE CAME OUT OF THE GRADUATION IT WAS PORING DOWN. HAD TO WADE THROUGH WATER TO GET TO THE CARS, EVERYBODY GOT SOAKING WET. THEN WE HAD TO DRIVE HOME THROUGH A STEADY DOWNPOUR. MISERABLE.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, HAD SOME GREAT B-B-Q RIBS AT #1 DAUGHTERS. RIBS, ONIONS, AND DILL PICKLES ARE HARD TO BEAT.

Sue recently cleared a warehouse for guy who sold it. He told Sue she could take the contents. 4 55 gallon drums of honey, a Hobart A 120 mixer with attachments, a large stainless steel wheeled tub, hand operated meat grinder, a stainless steel wheeled shelf and a commercial dehydrator. Sue sold the honey for $500 for 2 of the drums. 2 were not usable due to storage. I just checked the mixer and they're going for $1400 and the tub goes for over $700. You know what they say about one man's trash .......... The money generated will probably go into the casino investment fund. See if we can grow it. (Probably not) But we can give it a shot.

Howdy! I may have been close to another 2017 sleep-in record today. The incessant pitter-patter of raindrops must be hypnotic. Meanwhile, I did manage to get the lawn mowed yesterday while it was semi-dry - good thing, otherwise I would need to look into jungle-clearing equipment.

Nice score, Tommy!

Stay dry, Gurus1

Yes, the tables have turned, for now. But a rainout today. Meanwhile, I stayed awake for 5 hours before I decided I needed a nap.

Evening folks....Up early and around. Loaded the car and headed to north central Kansas. It's an, almost, three hour drive, so got here about two hours before the wedding. Just as we were trying to decide where to eat before going, sitting at a stoplight, a car pulls up next to us and it was some friends, former neighbors, who had come up for the wedding. We talked at the red light and made a plan to.eat together.

Then went to the wedding. They were staying in the same motel. After the wedding, we went to,check in before going out to the reception, dinner and dance. It has been a great day.

Very cool all day, was glad we brought coats with us.

Yea, my Royals just can't seem to get it completely together so far. I still have hopes.

Today another nice score. Sort of a big, big toolbox. A shipping container 8'x8'x20'. $800 plus $180 to move it and a $30 tip for doing such a great job placing it. It's at the house nursery.
