COOL, CALM, AND SUNNY AT THE MOMENT, BUT THAT MAY CHANGE.

YESTERDAY'S CAR SEARCH WAS PRODUCTIVE, SORT OF. DARLING WIFE TENDS TO LIKE THE ONE SHE'S LOOKING AT BEST. I WAS TAKEN WITH THE HYUNDAI SANTA FE SPORT TURBO. HANDLED WELL FOR IT'S CLASS AND WAS SURPRISINGLY LIVELY FOR A FOUR BANGER. WE'LL LOOK AT SOME MORE, BUT ARE LIMITING IT TO THE MUSKOGEE/TAHLEQUAH AREA OUT OF SERVICE CONSIDERATIONS.

Howdy! Last work day of the week for me. That I'm aware of, anyway. We have a heat wave - it's gonna be 90-ish for the next several days. I would prefer a more gradual transition into summer.

Letty, hope your head feels better soon - that would be annoying as hell.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Last evening a delivery driver driving somewhat aggressively jumped a stop sign and turned through an intersection. Though the box was tied down the inertia sent six cans of engine degreaser to the roadside. In the interest of keeping the streets clean of litter Sue picked up the cans and brought them home for recycling.
Sue loves to impose deadlines or set dates of tasks to be done. Not a good approach for a guy who claims to be retired. I'm more of a the job will get finished when it's done kinda guy. When it comes to clocks and time my inner thoughts are more along the lines of . Isn't that what retirement is all about? Well, I'll have to settle for semi retired.

Brad you are correct - It's annoying as hell. The flonase I think is helping. I can pop my ears but all this mess feels like it's in the top of my head. I still feel/hear as though I'm underwater. Bugs the sh*t out of me.
Speaking of cars - we have had a couple come through here that I liked that I never thought I'd say I liked.
The Benz was obvious. The KIA surprised me. It has a Twin turbo v6, 376 torque does 0-60 in 4.7 with a top speed of 167. Not bad. And when you get in there and shut the doors it's QUIET. I remember us fixing a Kia at the body shop a while back and were impressed at the front end of it. clips didn't break and stuff. Was better made than a lot of others.

AIN'T NO FLIES ON THAT! WHEN I RETIRED I QUIT CARRYING A WATCH :-)

FINISHED PLODDING THROUGH “JEWISH ANTIQUITIES” BY FLAVIUS JOSEPHUS. NOT AN EASY READ, THE SYNTAX IS SCRAMBLED MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW. IT MAY BE A DIRECT TRANSLATION FROM THE LATIN OR GREEK ORIGINAL.
THIS PASSAGE AT THE END OF THE BOOK CAUGHT MY ATTENTION, IN VIEW OF THE CURRENT PC “PRISON REFORM” CONSISTING OF TURNING DRUG PEDDLERS LOOSE. THIS TOOK PLACE UNDER THE EMPEROR NERO.
But when Albinus heard that Gessius Florus was coming to succeed him, he was desirous to appear to do somewhat that might be grateful to the people of Jerusalem so he brought out all those prisoners who seemed to him to be most plainly worthy of death, and ordered them put to death accordingly. But as to those who had been put into prison on some trifling occasion, he took money of them, and dismissed them; by which means the prisons were indeed emptied, but the country was filled with robbers.
IT SEEMS THAT AMONG POLITICIANS, BAD IDEAS NEVER DIE.

LETTY, THAT STUFF SOUNDS MISERABLE. IS IT AN INNER EAR PROBLEM?

Gris it could be. I equalized often but on the 2nd day had some issues with right ear. They seemed to clear. Now my upper head is plugged up. I can pop my ears. Flonase the doc gave me a while back, he said start using. It's seeming to help but this may be partly sinus related and caused by the diving. Tons of snot running down my throat. Combo of one causing the other I'm guessing. I could still "smell" the lake the other day, but eustacians drain into the throat, which the nose also drains into therefore....
