IT'S STILL RAINING ON THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, SEMI-DISMAL OUTSIDE. THE CHEROKEES HOPE THE SUN WILL SHINE TOMORROW.

NO COON IN THE TRAP THIS MORNING SO I WOUN'T HAVE TO MAKE A TRIP ACROSS THE RIVER, JUST TO THE BOOMERANG FOR BREAKFAST.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY.

ALLONS, GURUS!

Greetings! Nice, peaceful day at the home office. Feels good to just sit, after hauling stuff around all weekend. There's a bunch of yard work waiting for me at the end of the day, though. I would like to take the Vette out and get the flat spots out of the tires.

Have a good one, Gurus!

I keep telling Sue to think small when buying stuff for the house. Does she listen? To the beat of her own drum. Moved 2 bronze pieces from their crosstown location to the house. One was of reasonable weight. The other was heavy as f@(%. 2 1/2 of us moved it. Me, Sue's day laborer and Sue with her casted wrist. Looks great. Just a real PITA to move.

Hey guys....Slept in a bit, then had a Dr checkup. He says I'm doing pretty good for guy twice my age.....No really said I'm doing well. My hernia is creeping back, but now it's kind of pooching out around the area where the patch is. Doc says it's not in a critical area and we'll just watch it, unless it starts to get bigger/more pronounced or painful. I'm all for that.

Got the top cut to size, routed, sanded and stained today. My GS brought over a table that needed some attention before we take it to KC for #3. I got that one all fixed up as well. Later today...or tomorrow morning, I'll shoot the lacquer on both of those things.

It's been pretty nice weather-wise the last few days, today the temp has made it up to 78 and light breezes.
