It's good to see John back in action again. He's not quite 100% yet, but he's still John Force. Tony P. got banged up a little bit earlier today but will be fine. I really dig all of the Pedregon brothers. They are all class acts too. It's on ESPN for anyone who's interested.

I could hear them from home. I couldn't get out this year, not enough $$$ to go this week. Yeah I know Boo Fu$king Hoo.

John Force is Da Man! Fun to watch, and a great competitor. Here's a bump for the old guys.
One story comes to mind. Several years ago he was to race a bitter rival for top funny car winner take all and the guy blew his engine. He had a bad weekend and was dead in the water. Force sent a motor to kis pit with a note "Lets race"!

There's no doubt that John is a class act and a balls-out competitor. It's drivers like him that make drag racing a great sport.

I saw Tony's blow up... DAMN! And he was back at the track an hour later with a big q-tip on his right hand. Amazing protection. That car went UP.

On the Force subject..I love watching the Guy Race. His personality fits his racing to a "T".

Some of you may or may not know Force used to be a truck driver before he started racing...So see I'm cut from a pretty good cloth!!

Yea, Force is a class act. I even watched qualifing on Saturday.
Tony's blow up is the worst I've seen in a while. I've been on fire in a race car once but, the fire was behind me, only going about 50. I stopped, popped the belts and got out. I can't imagine having flames being pushed back at you by a 290mph wind.

2008 gonna be a wild season.

In the 'It's a small world' department - I do not personally know Bernie
Fedderly, co-Crew Chief for JFR, but his sister and brother in-law are
friends. The biography about Mr. Fedderly on JohnForceRacing mentions
Bernie and Terry Capp winning the US Nationals in 1980, one of their prizes
was the newly released Suzuki GS1100 sport bike - I bought this bike unused
from Terry Capp in the spring of 1981.
