CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, A WARM-UP PREDICTED FOR THE DAY.

A GIANT STEAM LOCOMOTIVE IS SUPPOSED TO PASS THROUGH FT GIBSON TODAY, I WANT TO SEE IT. OTHERWISE JUST A FEW ERRANDS TO RUN AND NOTHING OF INTEREST ON THE AGENDA.

ENJOY THE DAY, GURUS---

I think it's actually tomorrow for Fort Gibson—Big Boy 4014 is currently in Little Rock:

Been fighting the back pain for over a month. I know. I know. Go to the doctor. Been fighting back pain since I was about 20 years old. I thought I was Hercules. We all know how it goes. You fight it till you can't take it anymore. I'm trying to delay my medical pursuits till I hit 65 and I will have two insurances with little out of pocket expense. If I were to go now I think I would go to my acupuncturist that charges $75 a visit. Probably need about 3 visits. I'm not sitting or lying around. That's like the kiss of death for back pain. Hot shower. Bend and stretch, reach for the sky. Ibuprofen and Bengay. Then get to work. (Modified schedule as tolerated).

The back is a very poor design.

Haha....made me laugh...... did copy it to another site.... I agree the lower back is not designed well....... did not they know we would be lifting heavier stuff then we should lift? and doing that for years and years....... I have found a new bone cruncher that knows his stuff so he keeps me going..... along wid ibuprofens and hot baths......

I have found that stretching helps and keeping limber is important to my aches and pains....

Yeah I been wanting to see the Big Boy train as it has been by here several times but I have not been where I can see it....... I hear its worth the trip to see it.....

Have a jocular day Guru's....

Sunny day here yay! I might hobble outside later and sit if it gets warm.
Sure wish I’d known about that train, very cool!
Cousin just left, brought me flowers and picked up things I needed from the store and cooked supper for me so all I had to do was heat it later. Foot propped up, trying to stave off the need for pain meds they knock me out.
Have a happy FriYAY

TOO LATE JOHN, DARLING WIFE ALREADY TOLD ME I WAS WRONG :-)

HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON LETTY. I FIND PLAIN OLD ASPIRIN TO BE AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE PAIN RELIEF.

TOMMY, I THINK EVERYBODY'S BACK RESPONDS DIFFERENTLY. BACK WHEN I WAS HAVING LOTS OF BACK PROBLEMS I COULD PILL UP WITH MUSCLE RELAXERS AND STAY HORIZONTAL FOR A DAY. THAT WOULD HOLD ME FOR QUITE A WHILE BEFORE THE NEXT FLAREUP.

I WAS NOT DOING ANY KIND OF PHYSICAL WORK THO---

Hey guys...I slept in a little, then went right to work. My neighbor and I went to the shed, hoked up the trailer with all the old siding on it, called my daughter (who works for Road and Bridge, which is in charge of the landfill) to let her know to let the director out there know we were on our way. He was going to soak the siding good once we dumped it and cover it up. After that Rosie and I headed over to the 'city' to do our grocery shopping and my shopping at Menards, for materials for the kitchen remodel. By the time we got home it was 3pm. Unloaded our stuff at home and then over to the house to drop off the electrical supplies I bought. Came home and worked on some trim pieces until Rosie had supper ready.

It was a chilly start, upper 20s and the south breeze made it quite chilly while we were out at the landfill. By the time we headed to the 'city', it was starting to warm up and by the time we got home it was in the mid 60s. Looks like about the same weather scenario for the next 5 or 6 days. I can take that.

My back aches until I get up and moving, then, I'm pretty good all day. Stretching helps early on. We all tend to over-do at times.

Letty take care of that foot. Tommy...the back....Oh I laughed out loud reading that little jewel, read it to Rosie and she giggled too.
