SUNNY, 78DEGREES, ONLY 81% MISERABLE, THE CHEROKEES WILL PARBOIL ANOTHER DAY.

AUTO ROTATION DAY, HARVEY TO BE ON TAP, A COUPLE OF ERRANDS TO RUN, A LOW DEMAND DAY.

GOT TO GET OUT WEST FOR RECON BEFORE DOVE SEASON. WON'T BE ABLE TO TAKE THE BOYS OUT BEFORE THE FOURTH, SO THEY WILL MISS OPENING DAY BECAUSE OF SCHOOL.
MISPLACED PRIORITYS ON THE PARENTS PART :-)

MY HIGH SCHOOL BUDDY IS NOT ABLE TO GO AND I CAN'T WORK UP MY FORMER ENTHUSIASM. GETTING OLD IS SAD.

Thank God. I am not a fan of August. Too hot, too hot, too hot baby. On a positive note we are moving though the 8th month fairly quickly. Wont start getting nice here till around December 1st. Been knocking out a few nagging chores with more to go. I've been in a "Get R'Done" mode for the past week. The trend MUST continue. Even with the 100+ feels like temps I've been outside working. The trick is once outside stay outside. The A/C is not your friend. Once you've physically adjusted to the heat the coolest place you should seek is in shade.
The cars are being a pain in the ass. Mainly the 90 Corvette, speed sensor, 91 Corvette rough idle, won't accellerate, radio and alarm repairs needed and the 79 928. That one needs a slave, master cylinder and shifter repair. The Suburban is in the shop now getting front suspension parts, new shocks and struts, brakes, rotors, bearings then some new tires and a front end alignment. Originally brought it to my mechanic for an oil change. That was wishful thinking. There is about 87,000 miles on her now. I bought it with 48k. 40,000 miles in 5 years. Not bad. I love the Suburban. August is turning out to be a very, very expensive month for us. Have a great day everyone and don't leave the house or go on the internet if you don't want to spend any money. Oh ya, Sue gets her new permanent teeth implants put in this afternoon. Hope she's happy but I have my doubts. If they aren't just right the dentist is in for an earful.

Ya, my hang out friend list has shrunk to pretty much non existent. I'm my favorite friend. Well, there are the dogs, cat, fish, bird, pig and tortouises. Plus the visiting squirrels, blue jays, cardinals, lizards and anything else that makes it way into my yard.

Geez where has my weekend gone? Seems like it should be Saturday morning not Monday already. It rained some here and cooled things down but we're back up to a heat advisory today. I went out back to have coffee earlier and it was like an oven already. I hit the ground running Friday and got home from nursing home, my last stop at 530, then on to making supper and such. We worked in the yard again Saturday getting a couple of things off my to-do list. I have an overabundance of something called 'water weeds' looks a bit like monkey grass but greener and thinner. it's invaded one of the flowerbeds ad is now all gone. Two giant yard cans full of it. I yanked up four bushes from out front, relocated them to the back, put out mulch, dirt and such and trimmed a few things. Got a bit too hot but we just laid around yesterday and kept to ourselves. I have two beef filets to process sometime day, a little laundry and tidy up the house some. I'm home and unsupervised so I'm sure Ill get in the pool some too. Hope everyone has a great monday

Good Afternoon CGs!

Warm here but not as hot and humid as yesterday.

Hope everyone has a great day!
