Good morning, all.

A strange day at the University—we're off for Christmas Eve and have early dismissal today. The result is that hardly anybody is on-site—maybe three or four people in a suite that holds 75.

I was planning to attend CES 2022 in Las Vegas early in January, but companies I had scheduled visits with are starting to drop out. I have to make a go/no go decision soon.

IT'S A CLOUDY 51 AT TAHLEQUAH SHOOTING FOR 61 WITH A SOUTH WIND.

WENT TO OUR FAVORITE EYE-TIE PLACE FOR SUPPER. WE HAD NOT BEEN FOR A WHILE AS THERE WAS A NEW COOK WHO WASN'T QUITE UP TO SNUFF. HE HAS GOT BETTER AND IS LIKE THE GOOD OLD DAYS NOW. CHAIN RESTAURANT, BUT RUN AND STAFFED BY AN ALBANIAN/ITALIAN FAMILY.

MADE THE HORRIFYING DISCOVERY THAT I DIDN'T HAVE A GIFT FOR #2 GRANDDAUGHTER---
ACTION THIS DAY!
SOMEWHERE AROUND 17 WILL BE HERE CHRISTMAS EVE, MILD WEATHER
IS PREDICTED, SO WE CAN EXPAND TO THE FRONT PORCH :-) BIG DAUGHTER BRINGING SAUSAGE-BALLS, THE LITTLE GIRLS DEVILED EGGS, #1 GRANDSON SCOTCH EGGS, AND OF COURSE THERE WILL BE A SHRIMP TRAY TO BE DESTROYED BY #3 GRANDSON.
IT'S BEGINNING TO FEEL LIKE CHRISTMAS---

MATT: A VACUUM LEAK SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD GUESS, BUT IT'S WORKING AS USUAL NOW. I MAY JUST HAVE TO LET IT WARM UP SOME BEFORE HITTING THE ROAD ON COLD DAYS.

AND IN THE NEWS: SOCIALISTS TAKE DOWN LEE STATUE IN VIRGINIA; COMMUNISTS TAKE DOWN TIENANMEN SQUARE STATUE IN HONG CONG. BIRDS OF A FEATHER---WELCOME TO 1984.

MAY YOUR DAYS BE MERRY AND BRIGHT!

Christmas party redux on the calendar. Around 20 people mostly family, friends and neighbors. The cruise put me off schedule on my routine chores so I'll be busy the next couple of days.

Good morning - cool start here with a beautiful sunrise, then warming to 61 later today. Wished I was home. Hoping for a slow day at the office, the bus sides are approved just not the rear and front so I'll at least get those in the que. Have a pickup to do a partial on so will work on that some also. My cousin and aunt finally have power as of 10 last night, they still want christmas at their house, not mine because they whine and complain about having to drag presents. Didn't seem to be an issue when the rest of us have to haul food presents and junk. Oh well, we'd just as soon stay home with chinese food. I need to be at the nursing home with her also, plus we have been asked to come to Arron's aunts house. I really wish more people would celebrate on Christmas Eve or something. Can't be three places at once.
I think I'll order me a couple of tracking devices also. The customer I had yesterday who had his trailer stolen, he told me of the other dude who did have a tracking device on the vehicle stolen, but not the other trailer. He went straight to the vehicle. Whoever it is around here taking trailers and heavy equipment seems to have an underground network and have them "sold" before even taking them. One was found 3 states over the next day . Nuts. And they're bold.

Good Evening CGs!

Cold here. The Honda has a terrible mildew smell. I did an evaporator cleaner the other day and did a vent cleaning today. Hopefully that solves it. If not I'll do an odor bomb which is a can you open in the interior with the windows up. It dogs the car and circulates it through the HVAC. We'll see.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I've had good luck with this—enough that I keep one on hand:

Hey guys....another good day. Everything that was possible to get done was done today at the house. Having the two boys there to help saved me hours. One prepped drawer boxes with slide hardware, another mounted doors while I finished mounting drawer slide hardware in the cabinets. Then one of the boys installed the pulls after I drilled the holes.

The one on the left is #3 GS, right is #2. #3 is the one that says he wants to follow in my footsteps....If you can, zoom in on his hat.

#2 GS and I will change oil in his car tomorrow. Supposed to be warm but really windy...not AS windy as last week, but looking for gusts up to 50mph.

Sign came out great.

Was talking to a friend. He's a character. We were talking about San Juan PR and he said San Juan is great except for all the Puerto Ricans. (His gf is Rican). I was telling him that every Corvette I see is driven by an older guy. He has a 2021 on order, now delayed because the factory was damaged by the tornadoes. Anyway, he said Chevrolet says the Corvette trunk is big enough to hold a bag of golf clubs. He told me that they should advertise it as big enough to store a walker. Tonight Sue told me she said something to me but I didn't hear it. I told her that was one of the benefits of hearing loss. ... Soon after she was saying something to me from another room. I said to her "Are you speaking English?" Alright everyone, enjoy your night.

Thanks, John. The vent cleaner turned into a bit of a problem. The vents aren't 100% sealed. When. I did the foam treatment it leaked out of the seams and got my car alarm module wet and it was going haywire. I had to rip the dash apart and blow everything out with the air compressor. I was worried it fried the board but seems to be ok now.

TB, must be nice to hear the GS say something like that. Congrats.
