CLEARING SKIES, 67 GOING FOR 80 THIS AFTERNOON. THERES A LITTLE OVER HALF AN INCH IN THE RAIN GAUGE AND BLOW DOWN DEBRIS ALL OVER THE YARD. HIGH WINDS OVER MOST OF THE STATE, CLAIMS OF 100 MPH, LOTS OF POWER OUTAGES. NO TORNADOS THO :-|
THE GOTHS AND VANDALS HAVE RETREATED TO ARKANSAS AFTER STRIPPING THE HOUSE OF EATABLES. IT WAS A GOOD VISIT, GRAND MA AND DIL TALKED NON STOP :-) THE GRAND KIDS ARE BASICALLY GROWN, THE YOUNGEST 17. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY AND LOOKS LIKE A NICE DAY TO DO IT. I REMEMBER NOT SO LONG AGO THE MEDIA WAS HORRIFIED OVER FEMALE CIRCUMCISION; NOW THEY THINK THE SEXUAL MUTILATION OF CHILDREN IS JUST GREAT. I'D SAY IT IS THE EPITOME OF EVIL. MY BEST TO YOU ALL! |

Good afternoon, storms here again but the sun is out now like nothing ever happened. Storms returning at 4pm however. We were up at 4am tying up umbrellas, windchimes and stuff that got blew over. I was out doing it again when I woke back up. Zero energy today although I had planned to deep clean the house. Maybe later. I got all night, I'm off tomorrow. I guess this is one huge storm, down at PCB and Pensacola they're tore up with a tornado, there's been some damage in areas around us, and then as far as Ohio, a friend of mine works for the city up there and he's having to pull a weekender today with all their crews out doing cleanup. He posted pics in a forum I'm in. I didn't see the radar images but guessing it was a wide spread system. Hope everyone else is okay.

Dark day here as well. Sue is at the hospital getting her foot an x-ray.She stopped by a friends urgent care center and he recommended she go to the ER. She is just getting homenow. No, I didn't take her. I would if I had to. I worked on support operations from the home and nursery. |
