JULIAN THE APOSTATE DIED TODAY. OVER CHURCHED AS A YOUTH, HE TRIED TO RESURRECT THE OLD GODS AND WAS DOING A GOOD JOB OF IT WHEN HE RASHLY JOINED A COUNTER ATTACK AGAINST THE PERSIANS WITHOUT HIS BODY ARMOR.

Howdy!

Scored 4 tickets to see Peter Framptom on July 3rd at the Hard Rock. I liked the price. FREE. Comped. Working on the yard in this dreadful heat. The yard is beautiful but it doesn't get that way on it's own. I have couple of weeks of yard work with weeding, spraying, and mulching. No rest for the weary. That's OK. I've read that sitting on the couch can kill you. Fired up the burn barrel last night. Sue said "Is that the last of th paperwork?" I told "Oh hell no" But we've burned the bulk of it. Had some papers going back to the late 90's. Eating the elephant one bite at a time .....

79/51% AT 0925, HAZY, GOING FOR 93. SUMMER TIME, EVEN MORE SO TOMORROW.

HEADED FOR OKMULGEE TO MEET WITH TAX ACCOUNT, SEE #1 DAUGHTER; DON'T KNOW IF THE GIRLS WILL BE THERE OR NOT. THEY MAY STILL BE AT CAMP. WE'LL TAKE THE LITTLE BLUE CAR, LOOKS LIKE IT MAY RAIN.

THE "SUPER PREDATOR", IF THERE WAS ONE, MAY HAVE MOVED ON. MAYBE ATE OUT THE AREA AND GONE TO GREENER PASTURES. I'M SEEING RABBITS AGAIN, POSSUMS ARE SCAVENGING UNDER THE BIRDFEEDERS, AND I HAVE AN INVISIBLE FULL TIME BARNCAT.
WILD LIFE POPULATIONS ARE RECOVERING.

ALWAYS FORWARD, Y'ALL!

..took the fiddysix down to have my most trusted wrench put in the new power brake booster and master cylinder set up. I let the pros take care of the brake fixes..... especially when we are headed to the mountains.... also putting on a new 100 amp alternator....

Julian must have thought the old Gods would protect him.... oops....

Speaking of critters. I walked out on my back patio, looked into the yard and saw a Tegu lizard, iguana and several agama lizards. All non natives. Course there are doves, sparrows and blue jays as well. Others are out there if I only look for them like mockingbirds, squirrels, woodpeckers and more. Love watching the wildlife. The tegu was over 2 feet long, the iguana also a 2+ footer. The agamas only get to about 10". There are lots of smaller lizards like anoles and geckos out there too. Those grow to about 5" long.

good morning, it's already almost 100 here, will be the next few days, just that time of year. I don't even want to be outside in the pool hardly. Have been outside helping remove a very old wrap off a pizza delivery car. Of course it's outside all day every day and it's black so it's baked on and it was double wrapped. Lady wants to give the car to her neice. Thing reeks inside, eww. Smells like pizza and hind end. Dropped phone off at our IT place next door, guy will be in this afternoon to see about it. I have photos and things in the cloud but my 'notes' and music I don't see there and i thought I had everything synched. I see some notes but not the two most important ones. Fingers crossed he can fix it and me not have to get a new one.

Hey guys, decent day here, mid 60s early but has warmed into the mid 80s now and will reach the low 90s by late afternoon. Then the possibility of some strong storms...hope not.

Leo and I have been working our tils off trying to get the 3 chests of drawers and the dresser finished up. Dresser was finished this morning. I finished dovetailing the drawers on the chests this morning and Leo has one set sanded and stained and another set sanded. I've been doing some cleaning up and will get to spraying finish a little later.

We have some wildlife here, mostly birds, but, we see rabbits and a few squirrels around too and an occasional skunk... we leave these suckers alone and hope they pass on through...if not, we call animal control. Nothing as exotic as what Tommy sees.
