GOOD MORNING

BIRTHDATE IN 331 AD OF JULIAN THE APOSTATE. THIS WAS AN INTERESTING CHARACTER. THE LAST ROMAN EMPEROR FROM THE LINE OF CONSTANTINE THE GREAT. HE APPARENTLY SURVIVED BECAUSE HIS MURDEROUS FAMILY THOUGHT HE WAS TOO INSIGNIFICANT TO KILL.

BROUGHT UP BY POLITICAL PRIESTS, HE CAME TO HATE THE CHURCH SO MUCH HE TRIED TO WIPE OUT CHRISTIANITY IN THE EMPIRE. HE HAD NO MILITARY TRAINING, BUT LIKE BEDFORD FORREST, HE WAS A NATURAL WAR LEADER JULIAN WAS AN EFFECTIVE EMPEROR UNTIL HIS RASHNESS GOT HIM KILLED.

good morning, it stormed sometime during the night, woke up to wet back patio and grass. We needed it, but I didn't set my rain bucket out for plant watering rainwater. missed out. It's sunny and hot again, getting to the office to see what the day brings, hopefully smoothness and no stress. I do need to call the hip doc in Little Rock, I have an appt over there Wednesday, so after all the kidney issues, I'm sure there's some records they might need. I got numbers for four docs they can get in touch with. You know you're getting old when you all of a sudden have more doctors than you do friends.

Funny, I need more doctors. Not really looking to make any new friends.

Friggin hot. Friggin humid. It's going to friggin rain for sure. I've been waiting for some tires I ordered to come in for the Mule. I looked it up online and FedEx delayed the delivery till tomorrow. Something about a delivery exception. Certainly not exceptional service.

Good Evening CGs!

Did 300 miles today and made it to the UP. Started out with a few chores but done for the evening. Will tackle a few more tomorrow.

Speaking of doctors I need to see the chiropractor but my schedule hasn't allowed me to get in there recently. Hopefully next week.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Hey guys, Like Gris, it was dark and drippy when we got up. Had the pickup loaded and off to the town south of us to build a ramp into a storage shed for a ZTr mower. Leo and I had that done and home shortly after lunchtime. Did a little cleaning up in the shop and putting tools away, then we decided it was golf time. So we went out to the course and played golf this afternoon. Cool all day long, with the promise of nasty weather after midnight. Daughter, SIL and Leo have a plan if it gets really nasty to load up the dogs ad come over and into the basement if need-be. Let's hope we don't have THAT nasty of weather tonight.
