so putting up a carport..... first the instructions were missing now I know why....the whole Hardware Package is gone so I have no way to hook it all together.... Called Costco and they told me that had to come from the Manufacturer in China..... this should be fun.... actually the customer service for the company that makes the Carport kit is really good.... so far.... will let you know when the Hardware comes in...... the carport was on sale.....

Hey guys, nice and cool to start the morning, not bad now, but headed to the low 90s they say.

All three GSs went out golfing with me yesterday. Younger two have golfed for a while the oldest hadn't been since he was around 10 or 12...he's 26 now so it was quite humorous watching him struggle.

Today, Ben (#2GS) and I are building bedside tables for he and his GF for their apt in Lawrence. tonight he will go with me out to Mens' night golf.

That seems just about right Marc. Hopefully they'll send the hardware in a timely fashion.

Gris the tree trimmers around here are still trying to catch up with the big blow we had here three weeks ago.

Letty, glad you had a good time...vacas are never long enough...until you retire, then every day is a vaca ... yeah, right.

Good afternoon, overcast here with sun out now and then, cool front coming through for a few days, we need it. Might get some stuff done next weekend if it's cooler and less humid.
Amen to that song, heard it for the first time today. Of course Rolling Stone magazine put a negative slant on it, "extreme right finds theme song" or something like that. Well, the song ain't lying. RS must support government overreach and child abductions?
Anyway, off the box, headed back outside to sit a while while I have one last day off.

AFTER THE TREE GUYS LEFT I STARTED TO SWITCH THE CARS AROUND. WITH IMPECABLE TIMING A RAIN SHOWER CAME UP AS SOON AS I GOT BOTH CARS AND THE ARGO OUT IN THE OPEN. EXPLETIVE DELETED! TOWELED EVERYTHING OFF AND WAITED TILL NOON TO TRY AGAIN.

SUN CAME OUT SO I WAITED TILL ABOUT 1530 AND MOWED THE REST OF THE OBSTACLE COURSE. NOT BAD, 80 DEGREES WITH A NICE WIND. ALLS WELL THAT ENDS WELL :-)
