SUNNY AND CALM THIS MORNING, 62 ON THE FRONT PORCH!
I LOVE IT SO, BUT IT WON'T LAST :-( 93 THE PREDICTED HIGH TODAY AND A WARM UP IN THE WEEK TO COME.

I EXPECT THE CITY KIDS AROUND THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. GOT ALL THE FIRST OF MONTH THINGS DONE EXCEPT BLOWING OUT THE FURNACE FILTER; I'LL DO THAT THIS MORNING WHILE IT'S COOL.

ALWAYS FORWARD!

Good morning, bout the same temps due here too. Nothing on my plans except getting coffee , I have my '52 presto superspeed at work as we speak. Getting my old shiny percolator out on the weekends is a treat. Need to run next town over and take a weedeater to a friend of mine, she bought my spare one. Won it in a $5 ticket draw a while back, barely used it. It's an Echo curved shaft, just right for her. And, perhaps to Lowes. Arron is pissed off at the gas powered things lately, carbs stopping up, lines rotting off so he's in the mood I think to get me that 56V kit I've been looking at. I need hedge trimmers, blower and pole saw. I don't need hedge trimmers as big as that kit has but I'll take it.

Good Morning CGs!

Sorry about the dog, Marcus. Hopefully you find him soon.

Wife drove BIL's truck over here today for me to look at the check engine light. I scanned it and it came back as an overretarded passenger side intake camshaft. Did some more testing and it appears that the variable valve timing solenoid is bad. Happens when you don't change your oil frequently enough. It's about 2.5 hours to replace. I told him I can do it one day. My friend who owns a shop told me if that's bad the whole engine is not far behind because it needs timing chains and variable timing phasers (4 of them). You also do the water pump, belts, and plugs at the same time to the tune of around $3800. Sheesh.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys, a nice day at the start, 60 when we went over to walk the dogs. But by noon it was nearly 100 and has hovered right there all afternoon. Already home from church and Rosie getting supper ready. Might go back over and let the dogs out for a while.

Got the pickup washed, vacuumed and treated. Probably will do the Caddy tomorrow.

Matt, that sounds like a Caddy engine. That's right at the figure we paid to have the same thing done to the GSs back a few years. Marc, I hope the little one shows back up. Letty, I have a Jura, makes one cup at a time. Gris, hope you are enjoying your company.

RIP, Jimmy.
