Goomornin.

Yesterday's tire talk struck a chord. Everything seems expensive to me nowadays. Now I know how the old folks felt when I was just a youngster.
So, a couple of weeks ago Sue brought home a stray terrier mix to rehome. Looks like the rehome will be ours. Schatzie is getting up there in age. She is 11 going on 12 and is a rottie mix. Arthritis in her hind quarters is evident but I have her on Cosequin. Snoopy is already 6 years old and will no doubt need a companion to mess with when Schatz is gone. After the initial rumblings they have all settled down and appear to get along. We sent the new dog, Buddy, to get neutered. He is about 4 years old, black dog with tan highlights and a white patch on his chest. Weighs 32 lbs full grown. He's a real nice dog but a little headstrong. (He should fit right in around here.) Got him chipped while he was at the vet's. Smart too. He will probably outlive me.

Weather here is in low 60's and high in the mid 80's. Not sure about the rain today but in Florida it can rain on one side of the street and across the street get nothing.

MISERABLE DAY HERE, OVERCAST, FOG, MIST, RAIN, 50 DEGREES.
RAIN ALL NIGHT THEY SAY :-(

WENT OVER TO MUSKOGEE FOR AN ULTRASOUND. THEIR ADMINISTRATION WAS LIKE A CHINESE FIRE-DRILL. DIDN'T TAKE LONG ONCE THEY GOT THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

THE QUESTION OF THE DAY IS, TWO NAPS OR ONE L-O-N-G NAP. TOMORROW MAY BE A BETTER DAY, I HOPE.

Started off sunny here then rain moving in. I'm still mad about tires. I checked on some for the rover and they start around $2k a set. I can buy a whole used (albeit not great) used car for that. Nuts. For rubber. And, I'm gonna have to, the ones on this thing is like the Vette tires and I need some more geared for winter around here. I'm not putting this thing on the track so no need for those sport tires.
Been stressy here, boss is on vaca in Orlando, somehow our Google thing got suspended, I have no idea how, I'm not an IT person. everyone is yelling at me. We got a request in to reinstate it, but they snail mail you a card in 2 weeks. Geez. No clue what happened, the notification don't say.

the funny thing... with prices going up, they haven't had a huge impact here in SoCal... sure, some have, but in general, not that bad.

Then again, our house value has DOUBLED in 12 years.

Hey guys, chilly day here...all day. No moisture, but damp feeling.

Worked in the shop all day.

Community here had a big deal kickoff for the season. Most of the stores downtown open to sign up for drawings. The bank had their "appreciation soup supper", so we went down town and partook in some of the festivities.
