WELL, THERE'S NO SNOW LAYING ROUND-ABOUT IN OKLAHOMA; OUR SNOW CAME PREMELTED. THERE'S THREE INCHES IN THE RAIN GAUGE :-)

CLEAR, CALM, AND 30 ON THE FRONT PORCH, LOOKS LIKE OUR CHRISTMAS WARM SPELL IS OVER. 46 IS THE PREDICTED HIGH.

CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER AT BIG DAUGHTER'S, GREAT-GRAND YOGI WAS IN HIGH GEAR WITH ALL HIS AUNTS AND UNCLES THERE.

ON THE HOME FRONT WE'RE STILL CLEARING DEBRIS FROM CHRISTMAS EVE. I'LL MAKE A RUN TO THE JEWELER IN MUSKOGEE, #2 GD LOST A DIAMOND FROM HER RING. MAY ROTATE CARS, THE HOLIDAY HAS SCUPPERED MY ROUTINE.

THE OKC KIDS ARE NOW PLANNING TO SPEND THE NEW YEARS WEEKEND HERE. THAT WILL BE FUN!

ALWAYS FORWARD, AMIGOS!

Morning guys...Cold and windy here. Up toward the north of us, BLIZZARD conditions. That prevents us from going to get the GGD like was planned. That was my suggestion. Getting her here just wasn't worth the risks involved in travelling for both parties. The blizzard conditions are supposed to stay in place through tomorrow morning.

Haven't heard whether or not the truck with my materials is going to get here. I'll call after while to find out if/when.

Yesterday was simply a wasted day. I didn't go outside even once. The girls got us a subscription to "Storyworth". It's an on-line place where the girls can ask questions and we are supposed to write up the memories/stories. We received our first question yesterday.

"What was your dad like when you were a child?" So I wrote many stories of my childhood involving dad.

I believe the idea is to pass these stories down to the next generations and to keep alive the memories of you and your history. I know most of what I wrote yesterday had never been heard of by my daughters. When you submit, they get notification and can read the stories. All three girls have already let me know that they enjoyed reading my story.

..thanks for passing that along Teeb..... I would like to do that.... wish I had more from my folks history and their folks....

Yep the blizzard is over so the digging out commenced... had to go out and get the snowblower out of the mow shed because we live by the motto... do not be prepared......

It is funny when you expect a machine to start that has sat for a year without being touched... I at least had put Sta-Bil in it.... took a bit of getting the choke just right but it finally started and away we went.... worked up a good sweat getting the driveway all cleared off....

I'm watching a show called For All Mankind on Apple+ TV.... It is good especially if you are into Sci-Fi... It starts in the early 60's when NASA is working to get to the moon and are shocked when Russia beats us to it by a month. From there on it is revisionist history as NASA and America continued to concentrate on the space race and colonization of the Moon and eventually Mars.... early on there are a lot of Corvettes in the show because that is what the Astronauts all drove, right?

have a day of rest Guru's

Oh the stories I could tell ...... but won't.

We had a good crowd over for Christmas. Not too big, not too small. 25 people ate and enjoyed each others company. It rained off and on throughout the day so we were pretty much restricted to the patio. Got uo this morning and decided I have had my fill of the Season for this year, so I put all the inflatables and stuff around the house away. Getting back to normal, if there is such a thing. We had deboned chicken, brisket and shrimp to choose from and a number of sides and desserts. Sue looked in the fridge last night and found a cake she forgot to put out. We have enough leftovers to eat for a few days. Next up, New Year's Eve and Day. Probably go to the casino for that and sleep NYD away. Onward we go.

Good evening, finally made it to the beach, decent weather but no sunset clouds came back. We got home yesterday from two places then packed and laid down to nap about 7, couldn’t sleep so we were up at 1, left bout 2. Got here plenty enough time to hit our favorite donut shop and get a burger then visit a state park. Check in was a breeze and condo is way better than expected. I bet I’m asleep soon.
