Hello everyone. I see not too many people had much interest in Tuesday. Messed up weather here. Front with rain making it's way through. Friday and Saturday look promising. Went to my primary doctor yesterday and told me we're all caught up and is giving me a 4 month break. Carotid artery scan and aortal scan came back good. No blockages or potential aneurysm showing up. Of course that doesn't mean much. How many times have you heard of someone dropping and their friends and family say "They just went to the doctor last week.". I was talking to the doc and saying I feel pretty good outside of the arthritis in my knee and back. He responded with "You're going to be 69 this year." He doesn't like to prescribe any hard meds and enphasizes he practices preventive medicine. Because of all the dope fiends in this country nobody that should get meds can get meds.

Does anybody else feel this country is going to hell in a handbasket? Especially those of the age that have never heard that phrase before.

Good Morning CGs!

It's been an expensive month for me so far. Ordered a new laptop the other day when they were on sale. Nothing fancy, just utilitarian. $350 OTD which I was ok with since I saw some for $1,000 or more.

The laptop pales in comparison to the new mattress we bought this weekend. We were due after 18 years (it was pretty well worn out). That cost us the price of the laptop with an extra zero on the end. But it's a nice hybrid mattress with an adjustable base that raises the head and feet. Pretty fancy. Picked up a new mattress for RR#1 while we were there since she needed a new one, too. Luckily that was just a basic pillow top we got from the clearance section for 60% off. Not bad.

Tommy, glad the doctor's visit went well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Ya was gone yesterday to pick up the Dodge Polara Bear 64 Super Stock.... took it for a drive and its a beast.... needs some TLC to get it in a more streetable setup.... it cruises at 2500 rpm at 70 mph in overdrive with the 4:10 rear gears..... I feel that I can own a 573 hp car now that I am more mature.....

pics I need to figure out pics....... what size can go on here? geez.... I'm not very technical.....

The car has basically sat in a heated and cooled shop with a cover on it for 15 years.... maybe has a 1000 miles on it since a complete restoration in 08 and 09. Body, frame, floors all fixed. Car was manufactured in LA and spent most it's life out there so not a lot had to be fixed as far as rust and such.... love dem old Mopars.....

good afternoon, congrats on getting the car home Marcus. I may be more mature also but that hp will still bring out the irresponsible young adult in me.
Tommy I also feel like the country has gone way south. We'd like to move and thanks to things now, we can't due to rates. Good credit now gets you crappy rates. Go figure. Glad your doc visit went well, they've seem to let up on me a bit, hope that's a good thing.
Been bonkers around here, two of the wraps I had dropped off yesterday I got done and approved and now are printing. That has to be some sort of record, but I still have a dozen folders on my desk. Two more dropping off tomorrow and we're due rain. I hate to say it but I'm not being outside getting poured on then having to sit up here all day, and I have a meeting after work out of town tomorrow night, plus I can write on wet paper. It aint worth me getting sick again to be out in the cold rain for someone and miss work.
