Weather is a-changin' here. Supposed to get some snow. We'll see.

We are supposed to have a little bday dinner for the wife today. Some ribs off the grill and whatnot. Should be nice. A few more days until the official day but you know how that goes.

Matt, I'm actually a pretty good cook. My mother taught me survival skills so I didn't have to eat a lot of Ramen noodles. She is on the mend. I told her we shouldn't go to the casino. Her response was I can still use the other hand. Speaking of the casino you mostly hear from gamblers when they win. We killed it this weekend. I hit a Major jackpot that paid me over a thousand. I came out ahead $2100 on the night. Sue was up $1900 but gave them back $400 leaving the table $1500 ahead. So we walked away with $3600 cash. I had to sign a receipt for Uncle to get his share. Oh well. You know your making money if you have to pay taxes on it. The gambling wallet is plump again. Sweet. Living life one day at a time. Give it your best shot gurus.

Sun is shining but there seems to be no warmth to it... 25 out on the deck this morning... supposed to be 18 tomorrow night..... no bueno on dat chit mon..... back up to decent temps next week though.... so mother nature is just giving us a hint at what is coming....

Went in and did some work on Daughters house yesterday then to Saturday night church which had baptism's.... they drag out the horse tanks and fill them up with water and dunk them good to wash away the old and welcome in the new....

Gris you gotta be careful.... Doc was tripped by one of her little kids at school last week and she went down hard. Kid did not do it on purpose but she bruised some ribs and that is never fun...

Hey guys, pretty chilly here this morning, down to 21*, but has warmed up to 48 this afternoon. Supposed to warm throughout the week.

Rosie was riding her bike today when a dog ran out in front of her, hitting her front wheel and she went down. She called me to come get her. She was still on the ground in the road when I got there. Loaded her and the bike into the pickup and brought her home. Skinned her elbow and knee, but her right thumb appears to have taken the brunt of the fall. It's really sore and a little swelled up. She's resting now. that lwaves me with entertaining GGD. She was going 100mph playing, when all of the sudden, it was quiet....oh no, what's she into? I turned around to see her crashed on the big overstuffed chair behind me.

Gris you and Rosie have some healing to do. Tell doc we don't heal as quickly as we used to and to take it easy. Tommy sounds like you two did pretty well at the casino....we never do that well, but then again, we don't frequent it like you guys. Happy bday to the wife, Matt.
