and it looks like it as the snow continues to fall... winter is among us.... may have to get the snow blower out if this keeps up.... the PNW family here yet they will leave tomorrow.... things have quieted down a lot....

No snow here today, or oiver tha past 50 years for that matter. Too hot for my liking but will taake it over the cold any day. Bil and sis came down for the weekend with my great nephew. He likes coming down and checking out the local flora, fauna and wildlife. His brother is 21 and has worked for Florida Power and Light for about 2 years going through his apprenticeship. He has already made foreman. The kid is super bright. Not sure the crews are to fond of having such a young foreman. We are on the right side of the grass. Sue has been complaining to me a lot lately since her stent and balloon surgery as well as her other issues. She has not been a happy camper. Bruising an multiple areas. Migranes from the medications. The doc says she MUST take the meds. Mainly blood thinners and anticoagulants. Well, back to work. Too much needs to be done. |

Cold here too, and dreary. There was supposed to be some sun today but of course there isn't, instead, according to the weather app, it should start snowing in about 15 minutes. We're due a "wintry mix". Guess the Vette isn't coming out this week. Trying to get motivated to get some things done here. I need to clean up the kitchen then I have two beef tenderloins and two deer ones that I need to cut up and package for the freezer. A workmate of Arron's met us in town last night to hand over a deer he got. He was south where he hunts for the racks, so we got the benefit of his prize. Always welcomed. Arron will haul that today up to the Amish processor so we can have snack sticks made.

Hey guys, left here about 7:45 good thing as when we got about 50 miles north the road was snow packed and not fun to drive on. Still got there 15 minutes late. Got there and the back of the car was packed with snow. Came home by way of the major highways, they were pretty much clear. By the time we got home all the snow was melted off the car. Now it's just filthy dirty...Think maybe I'll run it through the automatic car wash.
Good to have GGD back. |
