every vowel is underlined?
Looks kind of gay.

Looked at the GURU gear, I would buy a T or sweat but not with that gay font

Maybe we should have a logo design contest?

I like it, although the use of the GM logos would probably be an issue.

What about even using Corvette in the name? Where are we on that?

Why not have a different one for each forum? Here's one that wouldn't get GM's attention...

Yeah, I think something needs to be done about the font too.
I agree with Rex, too gay!

Coaster's idea of a logo design contest sounds good.

And the winner could get some Corvette-Guru gear. These look nice.

No GM logos in mine - That font is public domain - its not exactly like thiers, and I think the word Corvette is ok to use as well. I know my Corvette club is incorporated with the name. As is hundreds or even thousands of Corvette clubs.

Sorry - I missed this post last week.

We were trying to go with something a little different that didn't look like every other Corvette logoed item that uses a typical Corvette font.

And since we wanted to be inclusive of all generations, we didn't want to pick one font from one generation.

Our goal was to brand it with something different, something that looked distinct from other automotive logos that you could easily recognize as not like the others and that you would know it was a Guru brand.

I appreciate your input, and sorry if it doesn't please everyone, but at least you know our thought process.

We're planning to offer items in the different generations. Same basic look, but using a color that is somewhat distinctive for that generation. If you've noticed the generation banners - something like that.

another thing is ease of reproducability... the more complex it is, the expensive it is to make on a t-shirt or what not.

Most people forget that CFs logo doesn't use a GM-ish font, either.

I guess most people aren't Led Zep fans.
