Green Bay fans are in mourning. Like the team or not, Brett Favre was fun to watch. A true Iron Man!

Classy guy that truly loved the game.

I got a kick out of watching him throw snowballs between plays in a game just before the playoffs. He really looked like he was having a blast.

I hope he is able to relax and enjoy his family.

Damn.
Don't know what I'll do now on Sunday Afternoon come next fall and winter.

The local (milwaukee) media went crazy yesterday.
All the TV stations had Favre programming on all afternoon into the late evening. I turned on the news at 10pm to see the election results, and not even a mention of anything, other than "Good-Bye #4"

Tomorrow (Thursday) Favre is having a press conference.
He never did say in the answering machine message he left to that ESPN guy that he was retiring. He just said he was tired.
So, I'm thinking he might still change his mind, and come back after training camp is over (He's still under contract for 2 more years).

But then again, I'm realistic, as my avatar proves.

He was a grin to watch.

I also have to say, as a Redskins season ticket holder, the Packer fans are the absolute nicest visiting team's fans in the league.

After a brief celebration, they just about apologize after each Packer score.

Always entertaining, looked like he enjoyed every moment of it, and always gave it everything he had. He would've looked much better in purple, though ;-)

Because he's under contract, the Packers could trade him for a first or second round pick. But, I'm sure he's in the same boat as Randy Moss. He'd only want to go where he'd have a good chance at the SB.

Local Talking Heads radio shows have mentioned both Minn. and Chicago as being interested/intrigued by the possibility.

Sorry to see him go, but he's had such a great run. A friend of mine was heartbroken. She was hoping to go to Green Bay this coming football season to see a game at Lambeau and see Mr Favre.
