I see in your profile that you have an L98 car so I'll assume that's what these are for. I'm not sure how their factory lifters compare to LTx and LSx stuff. But the factory lifters in those engines are pretty damned good. I ran high mileage factory LT1 lifters with nearly 350# of spring pressure at well over a half inch of lift. Never had a problem with them. I've also personally seen brand new 850-16 lifters come apart, that I know were installed and adjusted properly. If factory LTx or LSx lifters will work in your car, use them if you feel you need an upgrade. Personally, I'd trust them in most any application until the lift needs for solid lifters is reached.

g,day notorious,
thanks for your reply mate!
im building up a late model 4 bolt roller block forged /light weight componenst 388 c.i now,not sure if you would call it a l98 any more, lol.
it will be running a 8 t/b individual cross ram intake manifold set up.
i dont want to run the risk of using those comp cam roller lifters.
so either the rhoades or ls7 roller lifters might be the go i say!
cheers

Ive never been a fan of Comp Cams anything. Ive always prefered Crane Cams and in my opinion, they are substially better.

LS-7 lifters. I got mine from Scoggin Dicky for $100.

They're cheap, they work, and their available.

You simply re use your guides and spider.

I've have GM lifters in my car with a decent amount of lift and spring pressure (.615 lift and pac 1220 springs) and have zero worries about the lifters.
