Hey Casey,
I just finished watching a program on The worlds most dangerous highways. One of them was 1A that runs from Adelaide to Perth on the South Western side of Australia. 1500 miles (2400km?) of the straightest, flatest highway in the world. They said it boars you to death!! It is actually so unremarkable that you can fall asleep at the wheel swearving across lanes into the path of monstrous Semi truckscalled Road Trains? pulling up to three + full size trailers! Holy Shit!![IMG]http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff216/berkworks/Road_Train2.jpg[/IMG] HMMM....No worries about sleep, 1500 miles divided by 160mph (give or take an mph or two) hmmm.... could do that flat out in a c4 in about 9 hours eh Mate?... haha Just thought you might be able to comment or relate a story Case. I can relate. Driving down from top to bottom in the state of Florida on the turnpike is dangerous for the same reasons.(dead flat and dead straight) They put a concrete divider between north and south traffic to keep the crossovers to a minimum.
Haven't seen any three full sized trailers though. |
