About 2 weeks ago I traded both my 95 and 01 coupes in on an 08. I have been wrestling with the ideal of an 08 since last fall. Going to the C5-C6 Bash at the Museum pushed me over the edge and 3 days later I was driving the 08.

I traded both cars at the local dealer and the had them both sold within 2 days. BTW the 01 was returned to the dealer today on a rollback, Column Lock Failure, thats suck for the new owner. It never gave any trouble...

It was hard letting my 95 go but the more I drive this one the less I think about the 95. I will miss the C4 but all I can say about this one is WOW. She is getting close to 500 miles so I will be testing the gas pedal a little more soon. The one thing I can't get over is the gas milage on a 430hp car. The 1st partial tank of gas returned 27.1 mpg. The 1st full tank returned 28.1 mpg.

I do plan to race the car at Beech Bend next week, I will post my times then.....

Its funny you seem to miss the C4 more than the C5. We have toyed with the idea for a while now of trading in the C4 for a C5, but there is just something about the C4 that keeps both of us from pulling the trigger. (And of course the price has an effect to ) Good luck with the new car!!!

What's a clean 95 go for on trade in these days?

So the way I see it they gave me $12k for the 95 and $21k for the 01..The 01 sold the next morning after I dropped it off, I don't know what they were asking for it...

I was already signed up for that other sites drag racing event with the C4, but since its gone I cant let that money go to waste. I'am a little nervous about bringing the new one to the track. But I would love to see a low 12 sec. run at over 115mph..

The Clear Bra is one of the mods I'm looking into...

Sweet C6. I am on the fence about buying an 08 JSB as well. Found one locally that is used (11k miles) for $ 49.9k, but I think I can get the price down. It is fully loaded: 4LT, NPP, Z51, A6, NAV, etc. Looking at trading in my wife's 07 Caliber on it (I'll give her the Charger) and possibly selling the C4 that I have for mod money for the C6. But that depends on whether or not I can find a buyer for the 4 link rear bolt-in solid rear that I have on order (spooled 4.56). If anyone is interested, it is just about ready to ship to me. I can have the builder send it straight to you. Let me know.
