I am getting ready to go hit the weights in a few minutes. After that, I have to help wifey clean up the living room a little. The neighbors are coming over this morning to come see the baby (they have a 5 month old little boy...looks like Samantha will have a boyfriend already!). Unfortunately, keeping the house clean is a lot more difficult now with the baby. I sat down on the couch last night and just about got "cookie monster" rammed up my rear. Toys everywhere already, and she can't even play with them yet. Sheesh. And I know it's downhill from here....lol. Hope everyone has a great day. Matthew

On Sabbatical Augusta, GA (85 383 stroker) 3213 Posts Member since: 2006/7/6 0:00	Day has been good so far. Yesterday was not so well. At least the morning wasnt. It started out like so...I planned on riding my bike into work so I got my gear and put it on. First the jacket, then the helmet and finally the gloves. I climed up on my bike and turned the key to ON only to find the fuel pump didnt kick on. So I cranked anyway...nothing. I thought perhaps the battery is dying so I hooked up some jumper cables...still nothing. So now I am mad. I get all my gear back off and hop in the van, throwing my ID card into the middle cupholder. I get to the end of my street and slam on my brakes just as I thought...oh crap, my ID card. So I go back to the house and start searching for it to see where it went. 1 1/2 hours latter I finally thought to check inside the dash and there it was. So now I call my boss and tell him I am running late (during the 1 1/2 hour search) and he suggests I check the kill switch on the bike. DUH, so I do and thats what it was. So now I get my gear back on and ride off to work....much more humble then before.

And you'll never do that ever again. I used to ride with a couple guys who thought it was funny at traffic lights to reach over and hit your kill switch. I never thought it was.... Matthew
