Another version which better matches an import recording on vinyl that I've had for probably 25 years. Awesome stuff. Duke is the master of American composers.

I just did some quick research... Many already know that Jim Croce died in a plane crash, however, the gentleman that accompanied him with guitar, Maury Muehleisen, died in the same crash.
A lot of gifted talent died that September night. |

I spent two years in California in the late '60s thanks to the US Navy. Jim Croce was a huge favorite of mine out there. Croce and California -- they just went together ... like Haight and Ashbury. |
