Good morning CGs!

Just a short note before work! Sleep was messed up last night, woke up about three times. Ugh. Hate that. Oh well, I'm not feeling too tired. Supposed to rain later, I believe.

What's everyone doing today? Work? School? Play?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Eh, damn big boss man wants us to give up a building to turn it into a class room and move us into tents!!! This is for FTX's only BUT we had that building built specifically for FTX's. To make things more confusing we have available class rooms all over the base even in the building that I am currently working in which is the main building for classes! Damn asshat! I have no clue why we are trying to do this. I dont think he even concidered power and where we are going to get it. Right now I dont see this happening, we dont have the resorces for it.

What's up Gurus? We are getting ready for our ALL Corvette drag races that will be held this Sunday at Capitol Raceway in Crofton, MD. Anyone kinda local come up for the races, as it is usually one of the largest ALL Corvette drags in the area. Last year we had some very fast cars. I know of one 7 second Vette and many 9s.

I'm still waiting on header extensio tubes and RT Cats from EM. I guess I should call Merle today and see if he shipped yet.

Talked to Tony Avedisian from Tony's Corvettes in Maryland at our club meeting last night. He has been a member for many years and on occasion gets to a meeting. I'm going to take my Vette up to his shop in the next week or two and get it dyno tuned.

red_johnny,

Are you at Fort Gordon? I don't know if I told you this before, but I lived in Aiken, SC from 1992-2004 and spent a lot of time over in the Augusta area. I was involved pretty heavily with a Corvette Club out of Columbia South Carolina but occasionally did some stuff with the Aiken Horsepower Association and some other Vette club in Augusta that did frequent curise-ins at Hooters on Washington Rd.

Cheers

Good Morning Gurus!

Trivia Guess: Experian, Equifax, Trans-Union. Not too sure on those, but I'm thinking I might have two of three, anyway.

Today started off pretty good. Back when I first decided to do the walking thing, at the beginning of July, I pulled out a shirt from the closet that did not fit. It was my short-term goal, to be able to wear the shirt again without looking like a stuffed sausage.

I told myself that when I got down from 299 to 285 I would wear it. Today the scale said 284, so I put it on, and it fits! w00t!

Slow day at the office today, I think. Probably watch a lot of ESPN, and hear the same five sports stories over and over and over and over......

Have a SuperMegaGuru-ific day all!

Thats cool grizzly. I meant to get in with the clubs when I first got here but life was way too hectic and still is. Now that I got rid of my money trap er...I mean vette, life has been a bit smoother. I am at Ft. Gordon working in tradoc.

Got my new keyboard hooked up last night - it's a different beast, lots to learn. Tonight I get to try updating the operating system on it. Here's a short clip - just a little piano and then a couple of the orchestra samples:

The strings sound REALLY good. The brass maybe not quite as good, but still decent. I can't wait to hear your Magnum Opus, once you figure it all out!

It has some pretty cool sounds, and you can create patches that go through up to 32 layers of effects, oscillators, etc. - should be fun!

I got a keyboard...4 of them. 1 on my laptop, 2 on my PCs and a actual real one, not as cool as yours though. Got it about 4 years ago for the wife...she hardly plays it.

Well congrats! I basically skipped work all day. Sat in a booooring computer seminar and spent half the day browsing google maps for new motorcycle roads.

So it was quite a productive day (for me). Resized Image
