Good morning CGs!
How is everyone's day so far? I'm a little tired right off the bat. Wifey is sick, looks like strep throat. I was up last night trying to take care of her, then I had baby duties. Feedings at 3 am and 6 am, and man are my nipples sore. OK, not really....bottle feedings. I also have to take the little pooper to the doctor today for her checkup and shots. That should be fun. EEK...sounds like a rough night for you. I had some guy the other night try to swindle me out of a riding lawn mower I am selling. It does not work so I am selling it as a parts mower. I figure its worth at least 50 bucks. This guy wants me to GIVE it to him for 10 mins of work on another mower I have. Uh...NO not going to happen. He also goes on and on about how he lost his job and is 3 months behind on his house payment, car payment, phone bill..blah, blah, blah. He told me about that 4 times while we were on the phone. I DONT CARE! Sure its rough luck for him to lose his job but why should I give him my mower for free? Hell, I need money too!

Good Morning Gurus!
Strep throat SUCKS I hope the baby doesn't get it! I remember this one time, at band camp... My daughter was about 13. She was laying on the sofa crying from the pain of strep throat. I told her "Jeez honey, I know it's not comfortable, but crying isn't going to help any." Two days later I was on the sofa crying, with a nasty case of strep. I croaked out an apology to my daughter. |

Yesterday we went on a delivery run to Key West. It was about a 280 mile round trip. Stopped for a BK road breakfast, unloaded in Key West and headed home. Picked up some smoked fish spread and some smoked dolphin (not flipper) on the way back. Took a nice long nap when I got home. Today I'm at my regular job. I'm a two digit midget. I have 98 days to go but who's counting.
Hang in there Matt. Mama said there'd be days like this. |

Well, doctor's visit was ok. Shots were traumatic, but she forgot all about them in about 30 seconds.
Wife is still feeling crappy. She decided to go to her mom's house because she is off work tomorrow and can help with the baby over night since I have work in the morning. I can't say I blame her, grandma won't put the baby down so she'll get lots of attention. Tommy - I've never had dolphin, but I like swordfish. I'd be willing to try that, sounds good. Matthew PS - any trivia guesses? Hint - think WWII |
