Ron, there were probably 150 people or so summoned this morning. About half of them were called to the front to make corrections to the forms they just filled-out. The friggin clerk walked the perspective jurrors through the forms block by block, and nearly half still screwed-up. Of those, many were called back 3 or 4 times. I wouldn't want to dumb down the juror pool any more, and I certainly wouldn't want to be judged by them.
It's actually pretty scary that these people control the fates of men. |
