What? There are other issues?

CA...

1 Allow gay marriage vs. just domestic partnerships.
2 Funding for high speed rail system from San Diego to San Fran.
3 Renewing taxes for improving school infrastructure.
4 More restrictions on farm animal caging techniques.
5 (Local) Adding taxes for extra fire dept funding.

And lots of other less interesting ones.

Fire dept funding is a big issue here obviously, but I'm voting no. I don't want to pay $1000 extra property tax per year to protect someone else's more expensive home in a high risk area. Let those who assume the risk, pay for the risk.

As for the other stuff, anything that increases the cost of doing business in CA I usually vote no on. And who the hell commutes hundreds of miles across the state that's going to benefit from high speed rail?

Same damn thing here but not quite that expensive. When you read the whole thing, it blows away the property tax caps that are the law here and lets the gov increase the taxes whenever they want.

We had to vote about a water thing. Basically they wanted to redo some water lines that were already good to improve the quality to almost a mountian spring quality.
