Its the damn school systems fault. Rather the people who make the $$ choices. They choose to save some money and buy off on that bio fuel and did not look into what might happen if something goes wrong.

Apparently they didn't use blended or biofuel with additives to prevent that. You would think that a government who knows how cold it gets would take steps to prevent it. Dumb.

Heard a report on the radio that PA has a bill/or passed a bill on bio-diesel. It will require all diesel sold in the state to have a percentage of bio- diesel in it.

now this is too funny right after this post I go out and fire up my diesel truck, then go into the garage for a minute. come out and now its not running and wont start! Hopefully when it warms up it will start! its 0 here right now

The cloud point on regular, non-blended #2 diesel is 9*F above zero, and the gel point is about -10*F. I would guess the problem here is not the biodiesel as much as people not understanding the need for blending and additives.
