Good Morning CGs!
Happy Saturday. Hopefully everyone is enjoying sleeping in today. End of the month, huh? How many people stuck with their New Year's Resolutions? I did pretty well with mine, although I did not do nearly as much cardio as I promised I would. My diet however was successful. Haven't checked my BF% yet, but I'm down a solid 7 lbs over the month which is good and healthy. I'm gonna celebrate with a beer tomorrow night (February, after all). I'll be keeping up my diet for the most part and try to keep the cardio up, too. What's everyone up to? Plans? Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

My resolution plan is working 100%. Another Saturday already. Almost forgot ........ Every day is Saturday ..... for me.
One thing I've found, It's not new. Let's just say rediscovered. No matter how much or how little I do, my wife is never satisfied. I could always have done more. Good thing I'm not living my life just to please the little lady. Really...... She's number one. |

Got my window guys here putting in 3 windows and framing a 4th which will come in next week. My living room had NO windows in it and was VERY dark....but not no more! Pics to follow when they are done. After they leave its off to lowes for insulation, drywall, some razor blade knifes and some outlets/switches.

I slept in royally this morning. Woke up in the middle of the night with a freaking headache for about the 5th time this week, but at least I made up for the lost time today.
We have a bit of a warm spell today (short-lived), so I have a couple of outdoor tasks to take care of while opportunity knocks. Have a great one! |

Is it still Saturday? At least for a little while yet here on the East coast.
I have been gone almost all day doing a little of everything, but the biggie was buying my wife a new car. We traded in my '05 Toyota Matrix for a new Chevy Malibu LTZ this morning. We have been looking around for another sedan that gets good mileage, looks good and drives nice. We compared with the Camry mostly and chose the Malibu, plus I got a very good deal from my sponsoring Corvette Club dealership. (I know you all will snicker about this, but I feel they really went wayyyy out of their way on this deal) so I was happy with it. After we picked up the car, it was only fitting to drive it all over hell and back to check it out real good, so we just got back in this evening. I now get to drive the 2003 Nissan Xterra full time. That was hers until today. It gets pretty bad gas mileage, around 17-18mpg. That's one of the biggest reasons she wanted a new car. She needed a car that got better gas mileage and that was an automatic. So the Matrix had to go because she pussed out and didn't want to learn how to drive a stick. Anyhow, I'll snap a few photos tomorrow when the sun is shining to show you guys the new wheels. |
