I posted this on the other forum a while back but wanted to see what ya'll think about my winter dress-up project. I added the rail covers, yellow CORVETTE lettering, and put some 10.5 mm plug wires in. Do you like the before or after:

Before:

I didn't know that!! I'll get those next time!! I bought these like new used, with heat shields for a very cheap price, so I didn't worry about the color too much.

Yea, Taylor has them, you have to do a little digging at Summit to find the p/n. Their LT1 set fits perfectly, about $60. Note: to fit the stock looms you have to use the 8mm set, the 8.5 won't fit well.

Taylor makes very good wires, they're all I will use on the racecars.

I agree. The 10.5's currently on my car are Taylor and seem to be very high quality. You are correct that they do not fit the stock looms. I had to buy a Taylor loom kit, which you can see in the pictures. They bolt right up to the head in the stock location.

I'll look for the yellow wires next time.

I used the yellow Taylor wires from Summit on a previously owned L98 and they looked and fit great.
Is your yellow LT4 a coupe or convertible?

It is a coupe. I'm still looking for a Comp Yellow LT4 vert, but they are extremely rare and hard to find.

Here is a short list of mods on my car:

DRM 383
Forged rotating assembly
Ported intake (TB and heads)
Ported heads
58 mm TB
NX wet N2O system
FJO progressive controller
Fuel pressure switch
MSD Opti
MSD Dig 6 (dual rev limiter and timing retard dial)
Bottle warmer
Line lock
Melrose headers
3" exhaust (Random cats and PE mufflers)

Sweet! I wish I had mine looking 1/2 that good.

What cam are you running and how much spray?

Love the nitrous install, very clean. Nice job!

Have you had her to the track yet? If so, how did she do?

I'm still trying to get more cam specs from DRM, but according to the previous owner, the lift is .58. Below is a link to another post where you can get an idea of how it sounds. The NX system has jets from 75 - 200. I use it more for shows, but W/O N2O, low 12 sec at 117 - 119 mph, on 75 shot, mid 11's, and on the 200, it was deep into the 10's. It has traction problems on the street, so I don't drive it as it was intended.
