I was searching for the end of the internet today, and found this letter he published following his trip to India, er... America.
He talks about searching for monsters and how the islands have endless amounts of gold, and how he claims posession of the land and wants to convert all the naked Indians that think dropped down from heaven.  The English version starts on page 15. http://www.wdl.org/en/item/90/ |

I work on an Indian reservation, so it goes without saying that you don't even mention Columbus around here. But we do get 2 different Native American days off and just about every other imaginable holiday off, so I can't complain.

I am native american, my grandma (god rest her soul) always said " we should have never let them off the boat" and "Custer had it coming". I smile when I think of all the remarks my family makes. I'm proud of my roots and I am happy with the present state of things.
