Can anyone give me specs for wheels. I have black 89 Convertable not Z51. I need specs, I know 17 in. need width, backspace and lug pattern so I can purchase some heels. My car does not have factory wheels and I want to find someting that will look good and different from the other Vettes running around with stock, Z06, etc wheels. I am new here so be patient with me, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

All vettes use the same bolt pattern (5x4.75 I dink). Not sure about the front, but the rears should be a 50mm offset or very close to that. Maybe 36mm offset on the fronts??

If you go to www.tirerack.com or one of the Corvette wheel specialists, you will find they match the wheel to the vintage. That will help a ton.

Others will chime in with who they have dealt with, but I just got some American Racing Torque Thrust M's from Tire Rack. Ooohh... nice...

Thank guys. From your info I have found that the wheels that are on my car are Enkei brand, they are 5 spoke 2 piece wheels (Center section is bolted to the rim) Wheel is natural aluminumand centers are painted gold. Thay have some curb scars and a couple of small dents in the outer edge. Are they worth fixing and some paint chipping on the centers.? If I decided to fix them will the bolts actually comeout so I can divide the wheels to have centers powder coated and polish wheels. Thanks again you guys are somethng else.

Throw up some pics.

They are worth fixing if you like them. That's the bottom line. I bought a set of rims for my 89 off ebay and I like them a lot. A few of us have. Cost to fix each rim you've got is likely 125-150 a piece. Or you could sell those and buy a new set to your liking for around $500-1000 depending on what you want.

Decisions, decisions.....
