Been busier than a one-legged cat in a full litterbox here this past couple weeks. Two coach busses for a local school plus a bunch of other stuff, a wrap for a box truck for a guy on the side, he's in PA, two side jobs for the paper, finished one, bout to be in another. Aaannnddd, the one in the nursing home has decided she does not want to go through her things now that I had to move into storage. Was gonna take her a bin a week to sort through and let me know what she wants to keep and get rid of then of the "keep" pile, we'd figure out what we can put in her room somehow, etc. Now she says, "take it to your house and you figure it out". Gee, thanks. Like I need something else junking up my house - a whole nuther house full of stuff. I just got settled from moving now I have to do it again and surgery in a month and a half. Great. Anyway, hope ya'll doing good and week running smooth

Good Evening CGs!

Rained in the morning and that plus the heat made it muggy. Hopefully it cools off later.

Found a neat car online near me...1965 Pontiac station wagon with a 389. Hasn't moved in 30 years and needs a full resto. $1,000. Told the wife and she didn't seem too thrilled. I guess that's a no. Too bad, I already planned on shaving the roof rack and painting it metallic cranberry. Oh well.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Problems of luxury. ;) Remember when we had nothing? Now we have too much. Blew through the middle and don't remember being just right. Guess we're never happy. Not enough or too much. lol.

Makes for a good dream. Leave it there. By one already built for less than it would cost you to do. Their loss your gain. Resto wagon or custom. Just saw 64 GTO custom Pontiac 2 door wagon in Hot Rod magazine. $$$$$ spent.

BACK FROM THE WILD WEST. THERE ARE A FAIR NUMBER OF DOVE BUT BADLY SCATTERED AND WATER STANDING EVERYWHERE. THE NEXT TWO WEEKS WILL TELL THE TALE. IF IT STAYS HOT AND DRY WE MAY HAVE A PASSABLE SHOOT; IF IT KEEPS RAINING WE'RE SOL.

Wow....I just have to not even go near the news......even Fox is getting weird....... very frustrating...... The media pressure on Trump is 10 times more than on any other Pres...... poor guy.......

That's because he's 10 times the pompous ass of any President we've ever had before. Open mouth insert foot syndrome. Obama used to get hammered too but for the opposite reasons.
Next!

NOT SO. OBAMA WAS NEVER SUBJECTED TO THE KIND OF ALL OUT, CONTINUAL, COORDINATED ATTACK BY THE MEDIA THAT TRUMP HAS ENDURED.

THE BIG PICTURE IS TRUMP IS TRYING TO DO WHAT HE WAS ELECTED TO DO. THE PERMANENT POLITICAL CLASS RECOGNIZES THAT HE IS A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER TO THEIR COMFORT AND PROFITS. THEY HAVE TAKEN EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO THWART HIS POLICIES AND ATTACK HIS CREDIBILITY. THIS DEGREE OF POLITICAL VILIFICATION HAS NOT BEEN SEEN IN THIS COUNTRY SINCE THE EARLY 1800'S CONFLICT BETWEEN THE WHIGS AND FEDERALISTS THAT ENDED WITH ANDREW JACKSON BREAKING THE EAST COAST POLITICAL STRANGLE HOLD.

Hey guys, got the computer work done....an hour and a half. Then went down to the next kitchen remodel project where I told the owner I'd help him beef up a header where we are opening up a wall to enlarge the kitchen. We used a "microlam" beam.

The original header was sagging about 1/2" in the middle. We used a 10 ton jack to take the sag out, then applied the microlam to the side. After attaching it we took the jack out and found that the sag was no longer there. I was getting ready to leave when his wife came home and said that they needed to get the cabinets taken out, because the electrician and sheetrock guys wanted to get in there this weekend to start their part. So, I asked if they wanted me to help them..."OH, ABSOLUTELY! If you have time to help." "No problem." so I worked until about 5 and got everything out that I could...now waiting for the plumber to come disconnect everything, then I'll go back to finish removing the cabinets.

Another good day. I hopoe you all had a great day as well.
