Waffles and bacon are so yesterday. Fried chicken and waffles is now all the rage.

Mowed the grasses. Getting ready to do a little picking up around the yard. Near 90* outside and it awaits my return.

The person interested in the car came by Thursday evening. He was lookin at it for his daughter that lives in Cali. I'm putting the 83 in the shop for a few minor repairs. The less that's wrong the better. Sue is working a booth at the local Seafood Festival. She always ends up bringing in new customers and touches bases with many established customers. Reduced the price on the sale price of the nursery but it's pretty much where it will stay at 1.9m. Will take 1.8. Bad climate for sales but investors are on the sidelines. SoFlo is still a hot market and I don't believe will cool too much anytime soon. There will be price readjustments but the market still has many interested parties. The interest rates are something that new buyers have to have to deal with.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Cold here. Snow hasn't started yet, supposed to be this afternoon for us.

Had parent / teacher conferences this morning for RR#1. All glowing reviews as usual. They should see her at home...

Speaking of RR#1 I just signed her up for driver's Ed classes to begin next month. Time flies.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sunshine no wind and 75 here today........... just kidding it will only get to 54 but that will feel like 75 after all we been through....

Ya Tommy.... you have to be discrete about it and put a hit out on the dog... cost you a few hundred bucks but no muss no fuss..... mean dog just goes away on day...... mean dogs suck.... or..... you have to get a bigger dog that kinda gets under the fence and takes care of business... and then extra treats for him that night....

got work to do.... keep a good lookout Guru's

Good morning, yep Gris it's here. Stuff started about the time the vette club meeting let out and boomed during the night. Woke up to standing water everywhere and it tapered off about 9am. Rain rain, go away come again another day when we actually need it, let's say august?
Working today on my off day , have been covered up plus I can always use extra cash. Figured it would be a quiet day since I'm normally not here but have had folks in and out all morning. I came in to do two specific jobs and not been able to touch them yet.
Looking forward to a nice weekend

Hey guys, home from the games. Two girls games tonight. Tomorrow the boys will play.

Lots accomplished in the shop today, more to do tomorrow.

I am with Marc, that dog comes into MY yard and attacks MY dog, is grounds for shooting.

Last month my smaller dog went in their yard so right now we are tied at 1-1. My little dog and their boxer don't fight. I reinforced the base of the fence a little then but their dog found a weakness. I went back yesterday and put some rebar and rocks. Hope it holds up. If you shoot another persons dog they could reciprocate and one day shoot yours.

Had a CRAZY day yesterday. Sue lost it over the conditions on the cars. Like it is my fault. The neighbors dog got into my yard and tore up my dog. Had to reenforce several areas along the fence line. I'm just experiencing a little extra pressure right now. Thanks Sue. Thanks animals. Thanks all the things that are mechanically not perfect. Lots of repair bills in my future. More things to do than what I have time for. Ahhh-uhmmmm. Ahhhh-uhmmmm

Good morning, happy birthday to the wife, Gris.
Gloomy day today, kinda on the cool side. Storms were south of us, happening again tonight, hope they stay south. Supposed to be beautiful this weekend, might be some fishing in our future.
Sent proofs for a logo and a wrap yesterday, didn't make either of them happy although I did what they asked. Start over, meter still ticking. I do have one approval from another so will get that sent over to production today, and I have yet another to start. Too much crap, not enough time.
Car club meeting next town over tonight, dont want to go. Dont want to be that far out with storms, plus I hear the food is awful. Hardly worth a 45 minute drive and by the time I get there it'll be too late to eat anyway.

Good Morning CGs!

Sorry I was mia. I was out of town for a few days and no adjusting to a new work schedule.

It was 58* yesterday and beautiful. Today 40* and tomorrow 6-10" of snow? Doesn't seem right.

Gris, happy belated birthday to the wife.

Tommy, 91 running issue doesn't sound like vats. That's almost exclusively a starting issue. More likely ignition (ICM) or fuel pressure (pump).

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon, rain moving in here, storms around 5, then let up then again later. Storms tomorrow, high winds Friday, it was just summer Monday and Tuesday, next week I think snow. Mother Nature needs a midol. she crams all four seasons in here in 72 hours.
Been covered up at work, couple new jobs in today, a custom job and then an Odyssey. Lady just got that and sent it on over and we'll just keep it here till done. I have a Peterbuilt in line ahead of her. Have a logo in process too, his person for his old one is out of business and wants me to redo it. Says he didn't like old one so I'm out 3 hours and did EXACTLY what he asked and he just sent me a hateful text wanting the old one identical. Ugh. He literally said he didn't want a replica of old one. I hate people sometimes.
Thanks for the car compliments, she's an oldie but a goodie. I still have stuff to do but it was nice to get out in it.

Having so much fun tracking down parts and part numbers for several vehicles. Oh the joy. Cat puked on one of the office rugs so I went over, took the rug out and washed it down. Sue was too flustered to deal with it. Well, up and out into the sweltering Florida heat. High 80's Geez. Can we get a little Spring before the endless summer? Early mornings and evenings are nice in the high 60's and low 70's. Almost a 20 degree temperature swing every day. From a nice start to sweltering. Oh well. I know it could be far worse.

60 DEGREES AND CLOUDY THIS MORNING, THREE SUNNY DAYS IN A ROW TOO MUCH TO EXPECT, I GUESS.

FIRST OF THE MONTH STUFF TO DO PLUS IT'S DARLING WIFE'S BIRTHDAY. I'LL GET HER SOME FLOWERS AND TAKE HER OUT FOR SUPPER TONIGHT. TRUCK STILL WAITING ON PARTS, THIS WILL BE MAJOR REHAB. THAT'S WHAT 150K MILES WILL DO. THAT SAID, IT'S BEEN ABOUT THE MOST TROUBLE FREE VEHICLE I'VE EVER HAD.

ANOTHER ROUND OF RAIN COMING UP---OH JOY :-(

TIME TO FEED THE WONDERDOG, FORWARD MARCH, Y'ALL.

Ney guys, another pretty days here. I was alone most of the day. Rosie was doing GreatGma duties over in the 'city'.

This evening, I worked a basketball game...first round of Sub-State...our boys won and will play again on Friday. We are hosting the Sub-State, so that means I will work all the rest of the games. Two on Thursday (Girls semi-finals), two on Friday (Boys Semis) and two on Saturday (Boys and Girls finals) Winners advance to the state tourney next week.

It was gorgeous when I got off work so went by the bank then took the long way home, stopped to get a pic on the way.
Yeah, I think battery was 260 when the dust settled. I'm still mad I left the other one hooked up or it mightve still worked. I hate when crap is my fault

Yeah cars do not sit well and thinking it will be electrical problems are the culprit most of the time... If you go back far enough...like C2's and C3's they are simple machines and easy to fix especially the wiring... Maybe a ground problem on the C4.... good luck with the sales Thomas...

cold and cloudy here today..... around here the good weather starts on May 15th...... have a happy Guru's..

good morning, beautiful here supposed to be 72 and sunny, light breezes. Absolutely perfect day and I have to work indoors with no windows. Do have a doc appt at 230 so that will provide me a little enjoyment. Drove the vette today. New battery Saturday since my ignorant self didn't have it on a tender and it sat too long ruining my 3-year old red top. I got a different one this time but it was still nearly 300. Our club's bowling tournament for St. Jude was a success again, I think between $6 and $7 grand raised for that, had a huge turnout. Have an approval from Trane Co-op I'm waiting on for a heat and air dude's wrap then a couple of custom design jobs to work on. I'm not getting feedback from one so I will push him to the side and work on this other one till he wants to communicate. Also have a senior center I did some windows for a while back needing van wrap so will she what she's working with when she gets back to me.
Yall enjoy the day

Took the 91 out for a spin yesterday to blow it out. The more I ran it the better she ran. Came home. Gave it to Sue to go to the grocery store. She got 3 blocks and it stalled. Acting like it's a VATS issue but it could possibly be something else. This morning I was going to bring it in to a local electronics place because the amp, aftermarket alarm, door actuators and antenna aren't working. That will have toi wait till i get it running again. Before it conked out it seemed o be running great. It was another good luck bad luck story. Good luck it broke down close to home and I was able to get it back home. Basd luck ... yet another mechanical failure. I'm trying to get everything up and running good to sell them. Thursday someone is coming by to look at them. Trying to fix em and move them out. That's the problem with 30 and 40+ year old cars . Something is always breaking. Well actually .... anything mechanical. Everything breaks.

hey guys, yea, it was a bit windy here yesterday. Tornado about an hour south of us last night. We got around .40 of rain. Warm and breezy today. Supposed to be in the 60s the next 2 days here before the bottom drops out again on Thursday, then back into the spring like temps over the weekend.

Caddy is all fixed up. Tires were OK but alignment was off a bit in the back, but all good to go now.

Lots done in the shop today.

Good morning, supposed to be 70 here today but very windy. T omorrow will be 72 and sunny, perfect day, of course it's when I have to work. I need to change my schedule I guess. Our st. jude bowling tournament went well, packed house, got home and made soup and cornbread, Arron had to be outside fixing a busted pipe in the pool house. He ate like 4 bowls, it's a wonder he didn't bust. House cleaning planned today but still feel like I need to sleep, we'll see what the day brings after more coffeee.

Hey guys, Pretty day here...except for the wind. Made it up to mid 70s. Worked in the shop hanging doors on cabinets, then when it got warm in the afternoon, I washed the Caddy as it was dirty from our trip to KC last week.

Wind was blowing pretty hard for while. About the time I finished washing the car, the clouds started building and looked pretty ominous. Pretty soon the skies opened up and it dropped some rain....about a half inch...made the air smell so good. Only problem I see is, it didn't drop more. We'll take whatever we get though.

Tomorrow morning we take the Caddy to have the new wheels put on. Hopefully, the tires weren't damaged as well. Then an alignment and hopefully, the end of the story.

I've been noticing C4s coming back up for a while now and wishing I'd kept mine all those years ago, and kinda wished I'd got one a bit back. Oh well. I don't care to sell to friends either, as is def means as is but friends tend to think otherwise and you never hear the end of it. We had our bowling tournament today, huge turnout, and from the looks of it made quite a bit. There was another tourney after ours and they agreed to give us half their take too. Awesome. Am home making us some soup and cornbread, its cold and raining here. And he's having to be outside fixing a busted pipe in the pool house. He turned all that back on and heard it. Seems that crap happens out there every freaking spring. Pipes were empty so not sure what happened.

Interesting development. The buyer has an interest in all 4 cars. I've known him for many years. He used to drag race up in West Palm Beach with his Mustang Saleen and we've ben friends with his wife's family. Not really a big fan of selling to friends but as is is as is. Not like I'd be screwing anybody. I've dumped a small fortune in maintaining these cars through the years. Did you know C4s are finally climbing in value.

Got up and cleaned out my 911. Have a potentially interested party. We'll see where it goes. It's not like I have to sell it so if my bottom price isn't met it will just have to stay where it is. In my garage. I'm going to get the other cars ready to move this week as well. My 90 and the 928 are going as is. They both are drivable. Going to have the alarm and stereo fixed on the 91 then it will be ready for negotiation. Have to find a guy like Matt in SoFlo that is just looking to scoop up a new to them ride .....
