I surprised myself by not making a mess when I bled the air out of the line. I also repaired the Seat Belt reminder light (that wouldn't turn off) while I had it all apart, and then changed the oil for the season. Worst part of it happened afterwards when I took my kids out to dinner and saw there had been a big car show at one of the local malls. Wish I'd have been there instead. Oh well. It had to get done one of these days, and it's great to get in and not see the RED SB light and have an OP gauge that actually moves. Hope you all had more fun than I did today. This is going to be the longest 18 months of my life. I always figured the last few years of my career would be the easiest. Shows you how wrong I can be. Tracking ammunition is a great idea. I want law enforcement to be able to track down the bad-guys by whatever means are available. If you're not one of the bad-guys, then you have nothing to be concerned about. I don't care if the feds know I have thousands of .357 and 30.06 jacketed hollowpoints and 12ga shotgun shells. I voted Dem for the first time since 1978 last year, and only missed one election in 1984 when I was stuck in Honduras/Nicaragua. Forgot to do an absentee because we left in kind of a hurry, but uncle Ronnie didn't need my help anyway. I'm pretty pleased with the way things are turning out so far. Anyone bemoaning imagined abuses of the Constitution or Bill of Rights by President Obama's administration, or the Dems new "steamroller" has obviously NOT been paying attention AT ALL since 2000. Now THAT was disgusting! The House and Senate republicans and their complete lack of direction are comical. Their shrinking minority and "The sky is falling" mentality make them look even more so. I think I'll use a sick day this week so at least I'll have 2 days off in the same week for a change. Somebody was nice enough to back into my new Mariner yesterday either at Costco or Petsmart. Don't know which one, as they did it and drove off. Not a big surprise there. Put a small hole in the bumper cover and some scrapes. Guess I should consider myself fortunate. I'll get some rubbing compound on it before I leave for work and see what it looks like after that. Lots of bikes and Vettes out this weekend all arond the Chesapeake. Come On Summer!
