My baby took her first steps today

She did it while I was at work, but my wifey called me and told me about it. We shot some video of her tonight trying to walk a little more. She's a bit shaky, but on the right path!

Thanks guys. Exciting time in our house and I wanted to share it. I'm worried, though, cause like David said she'll be running sooner than I know it! The baby across the street does that...you put him down, he looks left, he looks right, then he just sprints in whatever direction you aren't so that you have to chase him. Fun times.

cheeyut i must be old...mine took there 1st steps 17 n 21 yrs ago...but a way cool thing it is ain it mattmayun...n believe them when they say wont be long n itll be dad kin i drive that vet fer prom?? trust me this is truth....enjoy bruthas lifes short n goes fast (hey that sounds similar ta me private parts!!!)

That's always cool, especially with the first one, then it gets to be old hat and you're wishing they would stay babies longer.

We work and prod and encourage them to start talking and walking, then once they do we spend the next 18 years telling them to sit down and shut-up! :-)

I've been through that same thing with 7 grandkids...and the 8th one isn't far from taking those first steps. Congrats it is exciting times.
