The cabin in my 90 does not always smell good. I know, I know, I need to stay away from the bad burretos. My wife says it smells like old people, so I went right in and took a shower and liberally applied fofo juice, but it didn't help. Is there an air filter somewhere up under the dash that could be the problem? The car's interior is very clean and has a few christmas trees hanging in it but it still has an odeferous smell.

I bought a set of Kumho Ecsta ASX 275 40R 17's and have got along well with them. I don't race and have heard they won't stand up to being pushed hard. They are quiet and are wearing well. Cheap too!

There are 4 ethenol plants within 25 miles of me and they use a ton of corn each year. Since a lot of people like me make their living supporting the guys who do raise corn we love ethenol. Bring on E12 or E15 the more the better we will just make some more. We need oxygenators so why not use something we can supply. Remember that the govt. is always going to subsidize farming, ethenol is one way of doing that without just handing the farmer a check.
It takes energy to make energy, Does anyone know how much it takes to crack a barrel of crude?

That looks nice but I remember when a 383 was in a Roadrunner. I saw a C6 the other day with a 427 emblem on the hood and I liked it. Your paint looks good!

Yeah back then it was all about seeing how much rubber you could lay down especially coming out of the school parking lot. It helped that it was a gravel lot to get things going. I tried it once in my old mans Rambler but I didn't get on the gravel enough and screwed up releasing the clutch and killed the motor. Yeah, I was cool! Upper class guys all waiting in line had a hayday with me for that one and the chicks didn't know I existed.
I did get back later when the old man bought a 64 Dodge with a 383 and a torque flite. That car did not need any gravel to get the 7.75 X 15's rolling. Fun stuff!

Yikes! I'm all pumped up. Ronan is great, but back in 68 or whenever Bullitt came out people were amazed at it. I remember sitting in the theater watching everyone scrunch down when they would come off the hills and hit the streets. I still like to hear him shifting that Mustang. (or wherever they got those engine sounds) I think it sold Ford a lot of Green ponycars.

I had that poster of her in the cave woman fur outfit in my dorm room in 1968. It was a big seller back then along with the Farrah poster of the mid 70's which was another classic. Maybe Tommy could put the top selling pinup posters of all time together.

What doesn't make sense to me right now is the amount of lot drop the new Vettes or any car for that matter is getting hit with. I am thinking 20% or more. You have to want new real bad to pay that much and see it worth so much less in a years time. I don't see how they are selling many new Vettes at all.

My C4 is something I can work on myself. My initial investment is low so I with kids in college can have an affordable performance car. I like what Dale says about the new cars having no soul yet. I get attached to a machine, I put hours of time working on it making it better and I am proud of the way it looks and runs.
I am not saying that my bucket list does not include picking up a future new GS or whatever the hot Vette is at Bowling Green and driving it home. That would be special for me and I would keep that car for as long as I live and then it would go to my son and some day it would also have soul and maybe a lot of meaning for those who inherited it. All of our C4's started out as someones dream and they were excited when they picked it up and after awhile they moved on to the next dream. I grew up when all the C2's were brand new and to get a newer car ment faster and better. My C4 is the best handling and put together Vette that I have owned. A new C6 should be that much more refinement and so on it goes. If any of us won the powerball you know most of us would have a new ZR1 ordered and a Ferrari and a..... The C4's have got me back into Corvettes and that has been good. I like what Andy is saying.

We have good water from our own well that we run through a reverse osmosis unit to get rid of the nitrates. (farm country you know) Other than an occasional diet pepsi I drink EAS protein drinks. I have one in the morning with my natural peanut butter and sugar free grape jelly sandwich on toast. MMMMMM
The EAS AdvantEDGE has 17 grams of protein and only 2 grams of carbs vitamins and minerals and NO SUGAR. The chocolate fudge is the best especially when its cold. I gotta have one right now! It will give me energy till lunch and then I have one at about 4 oclock to get me to supper. Works for me.

What have some of you guys done with the plastic wire trays that lay on top of the valve covers that hold the fuel injector wire bundles? It looks like there are other wires running through them also. They don't look good and they are broke in several places. Can I get rid of them and reroute the wires to clean things up? This is on a 90 stock L98. Any ideas?

I have been thinking about this for a lot of minutes. I think we should do a premtive first strike against Mexico. We could send in some Seals and take over the Govt in a couple of minutes especially if it is after lunch. Once we have control of the country we can run it the right way, clean it all up and all those people could stay home because it would be the U.S. It's a win win for everyone.

My take on it is that if they get to vote then we are all in trouble. Some folks are saying this has aready happened and that is how the Democrats got into power and can stay in power. In this part of the country it is all you see working the construction and roofing and meat packers. Are they taking our jobs or are they the only ones willing to do the work? Build a big damn fence, beef up patrols and get control of it. Let them come in through the proper channels. The flood will never end if you don't.

Glad to hear you are doing well! You will find that changing the brake fluid will improve how the brakes work. It did for me and my 90 only has 52K on it. The stuff was nasty when I changed it. I am running Mobil 1 in engine and Dexron III in trany and will go to synthetic in the rear end.
Don't worry about it, if you trust the guys down at the shop let them handle it this time. There is plenty more stuff you can do on your own when you get back to 100%.

I can't figure how the truck front end got up high enough in that short of space to not drive the Ferrari into the back wall. What State is that I can't make it out.

Good luck with the procedure! It will make you feel better then you have for awhile I'm thinking. Everyone needs to be getting serious about getting in shape and eating better. I am saying this as I wad a bunch of cheesy fries in my mouth....er I mean fruit slices and some lettuce.
