I saw a bad ass Fiero a few years back...



It's called the IMSA Fiero. It's cool. It was white and yellow... the body kit was the same as in this photo, but this one was most certianly set up for racing. the one I saw was a pure street car with, I assume, a TPI of some sort - there was a TPI logo on the fender.

It had a wide body, deep rims... real nice...

The Northstar conversion is brilliant... 300hp DOHC V8, a fairly good A4, in a drive package that fits where the V6 did without adding a lot of weight.

Personally I think it's better to lock threads than delete them, then people can see why it was moderated and form their own opinions, and it doesn't clog up the forum. There's really nothing to hide.

I deleted one, cause it was what i deemed to be inapropriate. And it was. I wont apollogise for it, cause i was not in the wrong.

Apparently i was the one that deleted the 2nd one, and yet i still saw a third version of it repeated again. Id have to think alarm bells wouldve been ringing when you saw the 2nd one deleted, so i really think you had a very fair go.

I didnt have time to scratch my arse let alone sent someone a PM to state the obvious. If you have to repost a thread twice, wouldnt you think maybe a 3rd time might be pushing your luck abit?

The one i deleted was brought to my attention by another forum member through email. They told me its affecting their presence here, a couple others have also said the same to me in the past week or so, so youll never know just how many others come along and read those beat up threads and decide they dont really want to get involved in a forum that has every second thread related to the Corvette Forum and how it's run.

Im sure you may feel violated by the fact we removed your material (which we obviously both deemed to be inapropriate) and by the posts made on the other forum (not that id know what was said, all i saw was the post you linked to and there was nothing wrong with what i read there.)

There are two ways you can take all this, you can run and cry in the corner, or you can be a man and get on with life, and accept the fact that they are arseholes that NO ONE is forcing you to deal with. Simply cause 2 of us here deemed something inapropriate for the forum and removed it does not make us a pack of arseholes, and it does not make us like them, i was simply acting in what i believe to be the best interest of the forum and the members that make it (and i will continue to do so). Im quite sure Brut was doing the same

If anyone calls someone a dickhead in an open forum (esp behind their back) then they shouldn't be surprised when it disappears. But yeah, I agree the poster should be notified anytime something is moderated, otherwise the moderation comes across as sneaky and indefensible

Now because of your advice I'm off to buy an airfoil, a tornado, and a 160* thermostat.

Shadow, I agree with you and I apologize that I did not get it done. But as said, I had to leave for an emergency and by the time I got back, it was time for me to go home and it just slipped my mind until I got back on later in the day.

I have already stated to the other mods that we should be diligent in notifying the members if their threads are moved/removed.

After much consideration on having two posts removed with no PM or email from a moderator, I will say this is turning into the CF.

I think I am done.

This is my opinion only but I really believe that the name alone will keep other generations away. If one were to get C5guru, C6guru, C3guru etc and combine or redirect them all here then perhaps that might work.
As for Jim W. AKA Savewave, I've met him and his wife and had the chance to have dinner and cruise with them on several occasions. My wife and I enjoyed their company. I consider them to be friends and good people. I may disagree with the direction the CF is heading or other things pertaining to the CF but that doesnt mean I harbour any ill will towards him.

Well, C4 generation has made a mad exodus, but how do we get the other Corvette generations to join us? Will Azz-Hole SaveWave eventually drive them out?

I occasionally get asked why Im not going to Bowling Green. most recent was from a member who a few weeks back took his 62 roadster to a track day that was rented my forum members- showed up with no top in 42 degree weather after a 2 hr drive. Nobody would acknowledge the guy at the track or in the track thread, either. So typical.

So, the idea of, driving 3000 miles to watch a bunch of snobby dorks jerk each other off and suck the mods' dick ? Got better things to do with my time.

Love the car, cant stand the crowd, seriously.

I think Trey over at Speed Hound Sells a set of adapter plates from this conversion cheap; and other stuff too.

Legal action can be taken against anyone at anytime for any reason, whethere there's a wrongdoing or not, that's what lawyers do.

But as long as the forum isn't condoning people arranging street racing events on here, I don't see an issue. It isn't Bogus' job to tell you to eat your vitamins, obey traffic laws, and listen to your mother.

Very bad, very very bad. No matter what forum its at, its a crying shame that Corvette owners have to bash other generations. I can take some heat about my C4 because I know and understand that its not the most desirable generation, but some of that dialog went overboard. A lot of it was personal and not even about the car itself.

All I have got to say is mine is paid for and I don't have $600 month payment. Funny thing is, most of these people probably owned a C4 when they were new and thought the same thing about the C3s. As long as they have the newest and best ride out there, everything else is obsolete.

Im pretty sure all the samke skinner molds burned up in a fire years ago...Jeffvette could tell you more about that, hes the local Z expert.
most their parts were extrememly light weight..Guy I bought my Z from has an orignal Snakeskinner rear bumper, weights next to nothing, just never had the extra coin.
